    Dirty hotel room and bathroom. Blood stains on duvet, broken furniture, no soap in the dispensers, bathroom filthy. No kettle in the room. Breakfast was disgusting and basic. 'Boiled' eggs, you cracked them open and the white of the egg was not cooked. 'Fresh' bread was frozen. Certainly not worth the money. Only pro is that it is near public transport.

    I just spent a couple of nights there with 2 other family members. Was generally satisfied, you get what is essential for that price (which is amazing comparing to other places nearby). The location is marvellous also.Wouldn't go there while on a business trip, but can recommend it otherwise. Will opt for the hotel if coming to Hamburg privately again.Pluses:+ very very nice & helpful staff+ perfect location+ quiet+ ability to store your luggage for a few hours even after the check-out + children friendlyNeutral:* cleanliness (a minor remark against the shower but overall moreless ok)* breakfast (a better option of cheeses and hams would be welcome, though)Minuses:- terrible coffee for breakfast (espresso coffee machine would be lovely)- fridge, minibar or kettle not available in the room- 3 bed-room means a double bed + sleeper chair, with the latter of them very uncomfortable (please buy another bed instead!)

    Strong smell in the room

    The room was quite clean, staff was friendly and the location was great. There are the good things. But..the smell. My room and specially bathroom had really strong smell of mould. That was the main thing I could not go back to this hotel. And I had in my room this weird noise in every once and while. I think it was the radiator, even it is not the heating time. It was really loud and I woke up several times because of it. Breakfast was ok. Not brilliant but not bad either.

    The hotel itself was quite basic, clean and tidy, but no fridge or kettle in room. There was a fair choice for breakfast, however, there wasn't any hot food options. The location was excellent, we walked to all our chosen tourist destinations with ease.

    I was here for a work meeting and the hotel is excellent value for money and is very centrally located. However, for this money I would have expected more options at breakfast, even some hot food options would have been nice.
