Staying here was just ok. The location was good- close to public transport and close to the Reeperbahn with lots of places to get food. It was clean and the main bed was comfortable. They don’t clean your room unless you ask for it and after our second night I asked for a clean the next day. Our mugs were getting dirty and we wanted fresh towels. They said ok and logged it on the system. We were out all day and when we got back at night we realised we didn’t get a clean so we were left with the same dirty cups and towels. We travelled as a family of two adults and a teenager and booked a family room. The extra bed was a converted sofa bed but it was so hard. We had to all cram into one bed as after the first night my son said his body hurt. I told the desk staff about it and the reply I got was ‘that’s just what we have here’ not even an apology. I don’t know whose idea it was to provide those to sleep on. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor! Great location, good breakfast but disappointing room

As a regular business traveller and user of Premier Inns, i have to say i am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hamburg City Millerntor hotel.From a positive perspective the check inn was seamless and very friendly and the breakfast was fresh with a good selection but unfortunately that is where the positives end!I paid a premium for a Premier plus room, when i walked in the room it was freezing, i switched the aircon on which showed the temp at 16 degrees so i whacked it up to 24 and automatic but two hours later was still only 20.5!My first nights sleep was horrendous and the edge of the bed there was a hard steel wire all around the mattress. When i returned from work that evening i did some digging only to find that the mattress was on the bed upside down as per the attached picture!As i went out for my evening meal around 8pm i duly reported the mattress and room temperature to reception:Room temp response: Ah yes you need to set it at 34 degrees and leave a card in the slot all the time as its not very good (would of been nice to learn this at check in or even better still fix it!)Mattress response: How do you mean upside down? After explaining that the pillow top that should be facing upwards and supporting/comforting myself was in fact keeping the bed base warm and comfortable i was told he would report it to maintenance but i could switch rooms if i wanted to. This was after 8pm and i hadn't eaten and was due to check out at 5.30am the following morning so retained the room as i didn't want to go back up and pack up to move rooms!Needless to say i will not be returning to this hotel any time soon when i return to Hamburg and i am very disappointed with my stay. A great hotel to stay in!

We’ve stayed in Hamburg about 5 times in recent years now, but never used the Premier Inn. We booked this one based on the fantastic price we found. What a bargain! The hotel was beautiful and puts the Premier Inn hotels back in England to shame! The rooms were stylish, modern and comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were fabulous, and the breakfast we had in the last morning was great. A 5 minute walk to St. Pauli station, 5 minutes to the Reeperbahn and 15 mins or less to the waterfront. And whilst we were so close to the action of the Reeperbahn, we were amazed at how quiet it was (and we are light sleepers!). All in all, a fantastic hotel at a great price. We’ve already agreed that the next time we come to Hamburg, we will 100% look to stay here again. Thank you. Comfortable and Convenient

This is a very friendly hotel with great service. The room was smallish but very functional with a comfortable bed. The hotel location is excellent - a short walk from the St Pauli subway station, a few blocks from the Reeperbahn (if that's your thing) and a pleasant walk to the waterfront and tour boats. Good cheap, but quality hotel to stay in Hamburg

Great location to explore Hamburg, I came over to watch a football match. Only a 10 minute walk to the stadium. The staff were very helpful and the room was Premier Inn comfortable standards. The free WiFi was better than the WiFi Ultimate I get in the UK.They only do breakfast and the breakfast is nearly €17, but it is unlimited.I would happily stay at this Premier Inn again, great price and great location.
