Location

This hotel is located in an exclusive area. The beautiful Botanical Gardens "Planten un Blomen" as well as Hamburg's famous river, the Alster, are all to be found in the immediate vicinity. The city centre, the exhibition centre and the famous Gänsemarkt can be reached in just a few minutes walk.

Facility

8 junior suites, 2 suites and 546 double rooms are located on 27 storeys and can be reached by 5 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A flatscreen television, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A vanity mirror and a telephone are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms and 556 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and a solarium. Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 2 restaurants (non-smoking, air conditioning and high chairs). A continental breakfast buffet and lunch are served every day. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    BED BUGS!! AVOID!!!I stayed here in January 2025 for a work event. I woke up with multiple insect bites in a row all over my body (a pattern consistent with bed bugs). The reception acknowledge it looked like bed bug bites, took pictures, and I was moved to a different room. When I asked whether a professional independent pest inspection had treated the room, this was dismissed. I was told housekeeping and their technical manager had looked and found nothing (surprise surprise).During my conversation with the receptionist, they confirmed there has been a bed bug infestation in October 2025 at this hotel but on a different floor.Despite this history, they declined to have the room professionally treated or to reimburse me for the luggage and dry cleaning costs I incurred to protect my home.Save yourself the stress and stay elsewhere. There are so many other hotels in Hamburg and they are obviously not taking this issue seriously.

    We having a blast when we stay at Radisson Blu Hamburg ( Due the bad weather / Snow Storm)Room was nice and clean , Staff are energetic and friendly, Breakfast was fantastic.     Very nice hotel with an excellent location for discovering Hamburg. It is 5 minutes walk to the Alsterhaus and the Planten um Blumen Park is just around the corner. Nice big rooms, clean and with a fantastic view over the city. We had rooms at the upper floor and there was some noice from the elevators. So a good advice is to stay far away from the elevators. Good breakfast where you can order different egg dishes. You get a 30% discount on parking in the garage.     Great stay. Reception staff need urgent training how to do check in and checkout. Breakfast staff was great and having a host to show the seating during busy times is a wonderful service. Garage was great but exiting is tricky if you have a big and long car.
