  The best Hannover experience.

  This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Doubletree Hannover in the past month. Nicole and her colleagues consistently made each stay amazingly positive. From the minute you check in, it becomes obvious that all the staff, from reception, to culinary, to hospitality is dedicated to making your stay amazingly enjoyable.   At the DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover Schweizerhof, one is reminded of an older standard—service not performed, but lived.From the moment you cross the threshold, there’s a rhythm to the place. Not hurried, not frantic—purposeful. Every member of the staff moves with pace and precision, attentive without intrusion. There’s a quiet understanding among them, a shared discipline. Roles blur in the best possible way. A front desk associate becomes a concierge without pause, a server lends a hand where needed, and not once do you hear the tired refrain of “that’s not my job.” It simply does not exist here.Instead, there’s ownership. Collective pride. The kind of operational cohesion you’d expect from a seasoned crew that knows its craft and respects it.And then there is Sean.A young man, yes—but already carrying himself with the ease of a veteran. He never stops smiling, never misses a beat. There’s humor in him, quick and effortless, but never at the expense of professionalism. It’s woven into his service, not layered on top of it. His wit lands light, his timing exact. And beneath it all, a steady hand—calm, capable, and entirely in command of the moment.Watching this team work is like watching an orchestra in full command of its score.   Starlings Murmuration Treat

  Amazing Junior Suite with Balcony allocated as upgrade for our Diamond status became a room with view to watch the spectacular display of Starling Murmuration in the skies at dusk. The furniture on the balcony shifted into the room due to wet weather served the comfort to watch the murmuration display with relaxing sips of gin based cocktails.   An excellent choice for your stay if in Hannover.

  I stayed here many years ago when it was a Crowne Plaza and very pleased to report that it's a lot better now with well appointed rooms and a nicer layout on the ground floor. It was Christmas and the hotel was beautifully decorated.Checkin was quick, efficient yet friendly and I was soon on the way to my room on the 6th floor. The brick lined corridors are unfortunately still the same, it feels like you are outside rather than inside.The room was a good size with a separate seating and desk area should you need to work. It was great that the windows opened so you could let in some fresh (cold) air. The bed was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of hangers and storage space. There was also a fridge and coffee machine plus bottled water for Hilton Honors silver members - it's free to sign up otherwise €5. The TV swung around so you could watch it in bed or from the seating area while eating your Doubletree cookies.The bathroom was clean but compact, nice long tub and easy to use shower, Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries as you expect in a Doubletree/Hilton. Nice soft towels and plenty of counter space by the double sink.Breakfast was outstanding, there was too much choice and a little hard to decide what to have so enjoy some sparking wine while you inspect all the dishes ! There was a great selection of both cooked and chilled items. The breads were especially good quality and I loved the butter machine. The coffee machine had multiple options to choose from as well as teas and hot chocolate. Plenty of cold cuts, cheeses, smoked salmon and salads - you will not leave hungry !The ground floor is open plan with lots of seating areas, a nice bar and a pantry selling snacks, soda and water. It's more inviting and brighter than what I remember when it was the CP.All of the staff were lovely, very friendly and happy to help with recommendations or directions. The Hauptbahnhof is a very short walk away as it the old town / Altstadt so the hotel is ideally situated. An excellent choice for your stay if in Hannover.   Very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree. Following a flight cancellation I needed a room for one night and was able to book one here. Received an upgrade to junior suite along with complimentary welcome cookie and fantastic service from Karl upon checking in. Breakfast was extremely varied and was located in a pleasant dining area. Only a five minute walk from the central station and a two minute walk to the bus stop which has frequent services to the New Town Hall, Sprengel Museum and Lower Saxony State Museum as well as other city centre locations.
