    I've stayed in this hotel before for earlier morning flights from Hannover Airport. It's a simple hotel conveniently located with comfortable beds. Perfect. When I arrived in the late afternoon on 19 December I found the hotel to be dark. With the help of my phone torch I saw a note on the door in English and German that the hotel was closed and that I was rebooked to a hotel some 1.5km further away from the airport. Yes, I understand that things can go wrong. But I would really have appreciated to be informed of this before dragging my duffle from the station to this hotel, and then another 1.5km onward. Sometimes people just have physical limitations, and this short walk with my luggage totally drained me. I know that customer service is miserable in Germany, but is this really too much to ask? Apparently it is.

    They over booked us!!

    We have just returned from a trip to Germany. We booked this hotel over a month in advance for 3 nights via Booking.com. Upon arrival an apologetic receptionist advised us they had over booked the hotel and there was no room available for us.They booked us into another hotel in their group about a mile away, which was most inconvenient as we were visiting family who lived on the other side of town to the alternative hotel. Hence I cannot recommend this hotel.     Unfair payment treatment

    I reserved 9 nights through an internet agent, price was fair, although without breakfast. The room was enough for the rate that I paid. The people was friendly anr correct, but her is my story, there was a change on my job schedule, I had to check out 4 nights earlier, but I needed to comeback after 5 days to the same city, therefor I asked to use that booking later, they say imposible, no way to convince them, so I asked them at least to use some of the money that I paid extra for the breakfast, also imposible.They are a bunch of greedy people. They lost a customer.     Disappointed and angry

    The security of the hotel is SO POOR, and someone got into our room and stole one handbag during our going out at Apr. 6th. WHAT IS WORSE, the ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF in charge of this thing made us feel totally offended. Her words show extremely strong DISCRIMINATION to us, which made us even more angry. Her behavior is totally NOT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT TO PUT IT IN TO THE HELL. Never recommend to any one else.     I recently stayed here on a business trip with a couple of colleagues. We had comfortable, yet very basic and dated rooms. The hotel staff were helpful, but the reception closes at 22:00. Fortunately I made it to the hotel at 21:50, after a delayed flight, and managed to check in for mywelf and my colleagues. The door is locked after 22:00 and the lift is also closed after this time, which meant my colleague had to carry her heavy bag to the 3rd floor up the stairs. The breakfast was better than I had expected with a good range of cold meats, cheese, brötchen, cereals, fruit, yoghurt and scrambled egg. I would attempt to find a different hotel next time, however, my company booked this hotel for us, so we didn't have a choice.
