Location

The small town of Celle has a pleasant atmosphere and features numerous historical half-timbered houses, the baroque Ducal Palace and a quaint old town centre whose buildings bring the 700-year-history of the town to life. Not to be missed on a tour of the town are the old Town Hall on the market place and the town church. At the Bomann Museum guests can re-live the history of the region. Other attractions include the French Garden and the Convent in Wienhausen. Restaurants, bars, shops and links to the public transport network can be found on the hotel's doorstep and the train station is around 2 km away. The city of Hanover is roughly 35 km from the conference hotel and Hannover-Langenhagen Airport is approximately 40 km away.

Facility

4 junior suites, 3 single rooms and 114 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a conference room and a business centre are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Worn out mattress and either loud or hot

    Location: Great, just cross one street and you enter the really nice old town of Celle. You are on the eastern end so some walk to the other side but very close by. Parking facilities (in case of the hotel ones being filled) just across the courtyard.Rooms: Small, dark and if you have the bad luck to have on to the Main Street it is either loud or it gets really hot. No much fun at all in staying in one, just be good for sleeping and showering (small as well) and that's it. But sleeping is not only marred by the hot or loud dichotomy but also by the fact that this was the second most worn out mattress I have ever slept in. Terrible.Food. Did not have any but the breakfast buffet looked nice.Staff:Friendly and most efficientCommunal areas: Nice and clean but nothing to write home about.Sorry guys being cheap on the beds - which is the most important item in an hotel -does not pay out.

    The hotel is on the edge of the old town and only a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. It’s on a main road but the room was quiet as it was at the back of the hotel.The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a large selection of food.I’d definitely stay here if I visit Celle again.     Perfect which is suitable for group trips with the old town right outside the door, where there are many opportunities for visits to cafes and restaurants.Good breakfast buffet and very friendly service.     A typical 3 star hotel. Strange car parking system. There was always empty parking lots, but we couldn't never get access. The answer from the reception was either that we didn't have a key to the gate, others guests hadn't arrived back to the hotel or people who worked night skift ( after lots hade been empty all night) hadn't returned.

    Good hotel, great location. Friendly staff. Very close to town and beautiful Schloß. Close to restaurants. The only negative for me is that there was no tea/coffee in the room although it was available in reception area.
