  Beware of your valuables in this hotel! Don't leave it in the room!!

  Beware of leaving valuables in this hotel even if you are just going down for breakfast.This is my experience. I had booked and stayed in this hotel from 22 Sept to 25th September for the Hannover Messe. The charges were 4 times the normal rate. We arrived at 1pm and were told we had to wait until 3pm to take the room. Room was getting cleaned. Understandable.On 23rd I had gone down for breakfast. I was down for just 15 min. I had left my shoulder bag in the room with money inside. When I came back from breakfast, I found the room had been cleaned in that short time. I checked my bag; the money I had kept in it had gone missing. The Euro currency was taken leaving the India currency in the bag. I raised it with the front desk; they were least bothered. Later I called the police. They came and checked and there was no CCTV in the hotel, just key log. The police said could not help me. Just gave me a complaint number and said money cannot be traced. The previous evening, I saw a staff roaming in the floor with keys, I don't know what he was doing at 8pm. The staff are least helpful. Don't leave anything valuable in the room, even it is for just breakfast. Take it with you every time, all the time.

  Dogy place! Very worn. Still has come positives but be careful!

  The hotel is very innovative. The use of space and functionality is really superb. You have all you need and it's very well thought. The clever use of space makes the rooms more roomy, which is nice. It very well located for the original price we paid, but that went out the window upon the final price after arrival alone. The breakfasts are very good standard really, all well selected and fresh. Very well thought TV channels, that work actually and enjoyed by all including kids.1) The staff is friendly enough but one cant blame them for implementing hotel policy. The biggest shock of this place was the price. The booking originally cost Eur.214, but the end price was Eur.319. which is nearly 50% more than originally and why....just breakfasts and taxes! Thats for two people two night! These charges especially the breakfast is way too high. Despite the breakfast being super, thats a ripoff.2) Being located near the train station with a courtyard that opens into all night bars / clubs, one would have expected the windows to be sound proof became when you open them, its smoke and weed or drunks! 3) An overall musty and mouldy feel to the whole place due to the old, worn and dirty carpets. You have some shady people / families moving around the corridors. Perhaps they are long term occupants, could tell, just felt odd. We had the extra bed were a bit scared to sleep on it, some felt like fleas were there....it's not clean under the beds, for how long, God knows. Please dont get your kids of go there! 4) We drove, and despite being told you could park for a bit outside when you arrived, that wasnt the case, the hotel is on the main road, if you stop here, be ready to pay a good fine. If you come by car you need to park nearby...again they dont tell you this before, despite asking. Nearly there are more garages...the most obviously and closest one is the kaufland garage, which is free, but nothing is in English and despite asking, we got advised wrong. 10 mins free, then you pay nearly 10 euros! Had we know to simply park at the larger Parkhaus, that what is cost for a day. However this place is vile and filthy like a backstreet in Harlem in the 1970s....so beware to walk though this with your luggage and kids after parking. Not very nice, but just be careful.

  Modern, Sleek, Great Location

  A sleek, modern hotel with spacious rooms, right outside the main station on the back side. Very convenient location. Lobby is a bit cramped but the hotel exudes freshness with bright colors and good vibe. The only downside for me is that the toilet is separate from the bathroom. This is the second Novotel where I have come across this feature. But the toilet had a wash basin so it was possible to wet wash your but instead of filthy dry.

  Klimaanlage schaltet sich bei 24°C AUSSENTEMPERATUR ab!! Im Zimmer dann um die 30°C... Wer denkt sich sowas aus? Unmöglich zu schlafen! Management doesn't reply to Online and Tripadvisor reviews. Shows already how much they care about customer feedback and what you can expect of their service if you stay there! Is this really part of Accor? Sorry, never again Novotel

  Thermostat turns offbelow 25 degreesEffectively no air conditioning despite advertising Typical false advertising where aircon is claimed yet nit available Room is spacious location is good but sleep is unpleasant Hotels that advertise aiecon but make it unavailable are deceptive and poor. Should be sued for false advertising. It's a disgrace and terrible standards
