I had high hopes for this Staycity based on my husband’s positive experiences with the brand in the UK, but unfortunately, this location fell short.We booked a one-bedroom apartment for three nights as part of a train trip across Europe, planning to rest, do some laundry, and enjoy the convenience of a self-catering space.Our apartment was located right next to the laundry room, and on arrival, we were greeted by a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Upon checking the balcony, we found cigarette butts and a plastic bottle being used as an ashtray.The apartment itself was fine overall — the kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable — but it was dusty in places (I even had to wipe down the coat hangers before using them), and the safe had been locked open.We were also disappointed to discover that the laundry facilities were operated by a third party, requiring payment through an app to use the machines. This wasn’t mentioned on the Staycity website. The washing machines themselves were not particularly clean — I had to wipe the door seals before feeling comfortable using them.While this property served as a reasonable base for our travels, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations, and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

It was lovely and the staff were excellent. Clean friendly and good atmosphere. We got in early and they were kind to get a room ready for us 4 hours before check in.

Great installations , service and housekeeping need a lot of work.

We didn’t had the best experience. Hotel is nice , installations are great , but service needs a lot of work. Our garbage was never collected in spite of placing the sign everyday . On the 4th day housekeeping removed the sign without collecting anything .We tried communicating with reception , no result . We were never really heard.

Nice hotel in a practical location

The hotel is new, clean and modern. Rooms have everything you might beed, including a small kitchen. The location is good next to the main train station. The town center can be reached on foot or by public transport, but it takes some time to get there.

This hotel felt like a natural home away from home. I was so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail. I highly recommend StayCity because of its location, clean and comfortable rooms, and amenities.The environment was pleasant and welcoming.
