  The stench of cabbage and bad drains from the bathroom was so overpowering it made me feel physically sick. Not even leaving the windows open all night helped. Tiny shower cubicle and prison-style bed.The hotel is so very dated, lights don’t work and it seems untouched since the 1970s.Thankfully only a one night stay for work.The area felt really unsafe I was woken at 3am by a fight going on on the main road

  Location is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. There were multiple radiators at your disposal and tissue paper and bathroom paper. The single room was a good sized with a large window. Everything was clean. There was a place to store bicycles or indeed borrow those offered. Breakfast was available though I didn't try. There is also an elevator. Again...for the price paid it is deserving of 5/5.

  To start with the positive, the staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.The hotel is very dated, and very in need of updating. The corridor to my room had a light missing so was quite dark. The room had a strange smell coming from the bathroom and the shower doors were both broken. There was a stain on the chair and the whole room felt dingy. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable.I didn’t try the breakfast, everything else put me off.The location is central, however the walk back in the evening felt a bit unsafe.

  Good hotel for a short city trip to Karlsruhe

  Room on the fourth floor was a bit warm, there is no airco but the had a fan. The bathroom is small but we had a good sleep. Another plus was also the fridge in the room. The room was a bit old fashioned but it was good for a one night stay. The staff was lovely, very pleasant people.

  Interesting stay in Karlsruhe

  Booked into the Centro Hotel Blankenburg by INA for a staff conference being held in Karlsruhe. Hotel rooms were clean. However, put in a very small single room. Quite dark and not suitable for this trip. Speaking to my colleagues also at this accommodation they experienced similar. Am sure the hotel is fine for a 1 night stay for a regular traveller but can not recommend for the business traveller. Easy access to local transport links and for the city centre.
