    I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel, the DDR-suite is wonderful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It is very close from Leipzig Central Station, the street were it is located is very calm and have good pubic transport connections.     You are thrown back like thirty years in time, which is cool if you ask me! Hotel is not situated in the most fashionable areas, a lot of noice during night and odd people are hanging around, that doesn’t bother me however! Breakfast not that good!     A nice hotel with very friendly staff. A beautiful biergarten where you can enjoy food and drinks. Large rooms with old but maintained interior.The breakfast was good with lots of various choices. The fitness room was small, with only 2 machines, Cycle and Elipse machines.     A very good Hotel just outside the city centre.

    The hotel is very good; bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms good and breakfast generous and varied. There is parking and an outside garden area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is not much in the immediate area and it is a rather run down area just outside the city centre, on a tram route, but we used taxis which became a bit expensive. It is within easy reach of the old city centre and tourist sites and the main railway station. Would recommend as central hotels were much more expensive.     Clean, comfortable and close to public transport

    I stayed two nights in December in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the service it offered. At a glance it looks somewhat dated, but the room was spacious with a washroom equipped with a full bathtub and hairdryer. The mattress was too soft for my taste but that's just a minor quibble on my part.Included in the price is the breakfast bar (open from 6-10am) which offers a typical european breakfast, including a great selection of cheeses and sliced meats. The coffee wasn't great, but strong enough to jumpstart your day which is after all the most important quality.The personnel was courteous and helpful at all times. If you're looking for affordable accommodation without extra bells and whistles then this might just be for you.
