    I stayed at the Globana recently for just one night. I thought everything about it was excellent with the possible exception of the location. It seemed to be quite a long way from the airport. That said, it is near a station that takes you directly to Leipzig.

    Good standard to room and breakfast. Welcoming kit to the dog. Typical short overnight stay close to Autobahn (5 mins). Not so friendly welcoming late at night (0200 AM) reception.

    Overall, it's a great hotel. It's 2-3 minutes from the Aral gas station and McDonald's.The entire hotel is decorated in bright colours and is very modern. As is common in many European hotels, there was no fridge, electric kettle or coffee maker.The room has a modern air conditioning unit with wall controls. Finally, an air conditioner that is really quiet and allows you to sleep undisturbed.Breakfast was excellent, and guests could eat it outside on the terrace, where there is also a small fountain and a quiet min-robot lawnmower.It's easy to get to from the motorway — there's no need to wander around town looking for it.It's one of the few hotels in the vicinity of large cities where you don't need an Umweltzone Plakette for your car. Later, we got one from DEKRA anyway, so we wouldn't have to look for a hotel to stay at for a few hours in the future. They also have free parking spaces.

    Shocking customer service

    Totally disgusted by the abusive customer service of much of the staff here. Andrea Noack, receptionist, is the most notable culprit. A stay at Fawlty Towers would be better than this! It’s not a pleasure to be here and are treated with a total lack of respect. Would discourage people staying here. Many more, better options available in the city. Walls are thin and you can hear the cleaners vacuuming as well as the neighbouring occupants.

    Bad experience. Hotel rooms looks like something from a old movie.Bad smell and air condition on your small room is very noisy.The hotel is in the middle of no where.Personnel in the reception are NOT friendly , they act irritated and is NOT service minded.Breakfast is way under normal standard, and they only have 1 person here stressing around.I will not come back and will NOT recommend this not even for 1 night.
