This elegant luxury hotel, established in the 19th century, is located within Fort Malakoff and lies directly on the banks of the Rhine. From here, guests can enjoy beautiful views where the River Main feeds into the Rhine or go for a stroll in the old town with its many shops and entertainment venues. The nearest public transport stop is 200 m away and the railway station is 5 km from the hotel. Frankfurt Airport is 31 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 268 rooms, including 9 suites and 26 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. However, they could take better care of their guests when the plumbing renovation is underway, as some rooms had an unbearable smell from the bathroom.     Although my trip was a short business tri, my stay was excellent and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff was very polite and accommodative. I would recommend the hotel for tourists also as it is conveniently situated for strolls in the city center and for nice walks by the river.
