  Like a Premier Inn

  Felt like a Premier Inn we get in the UK. Was a comformable bed in a large room. It had a great shower and was a clean hotel. Easy to check in with friendly staff. Negative was the location. Was a good 30 minutes walk from the train station and the town. We got taxi the 2 evenings back from the town. Would recommend for the right price.

  A very last minute booking through necessity, the hotel was everything I needed - quiet, comfortable bed, good bathroom. Breakfast €15 extra but in my opinion well worth it with a good choice of vegetarian options (I think vegans would struggle with options to get value from it). My only critical point would be that the floor hadn't been swept as I collected dust on my feet when in bare feet but everywhere else very clean. Prices in advance seem to be very good value.

  So much nicer than I expected! Coming from the States I had pretty low expectations for a Super 8. But wow could the American Super 8s learn a few things from this place. The room is sparkling clean and modern, with comfy beds and bedding. The breakfast is fabulous, with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, breads, cheeses, juice, delectable croissants, choice of coffee drinks, and more. There’s a spacious new lobby with sofas and lounge chairs. They will cook you a nice thin crust pizza. You can buy wine and beer. Is this even a Super 8?!

  Good hotel, wrong location

  We were there in September this year for 5 days, Given our food at night as we were booked for evening meal. This hotel was not prepared for any of this never mind 50 guests, The food served to us was obviously brought in cooked and was inedible. Lovely for one night as a stop over but living out of a suitcase as no wardrobes or drawers. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing near. As we were on a tours during the day we did not have transport to go out at night.Therefore very boring. As most of the tour party were older people we were unable to walk down to the town which was about a half hour for someone who is able bodied. Drink sold in cans. One day we came back and ordered a cup of coffee and they had run out. Very disappointed. Not fully the hotels fault but our coach tours is liable to give us what we were promised.

  This is the equivalent of an English Premier Inn. Very new and so the rooms are spotless. Facilities limited as in previous review but couldn’t fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. Not in an ideal position at the moment as the area is being developed and there is little to attract outside. Unfortunately a tour company put us there for five nights so we weren’t best pleased.
