Location

4 suites, 5 single rooms and 56 double rooms are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     The wifi was very low. The lift was never in function. The welcome was very unfriendly and unpersonal. In the room the furnitare was instable.The only good thing of this hostel is the location, near by the Central Station.

    Despite the negative reviews, we gave this hostel a shot and weren't disappointed. The neighborhood is not bad and it's really close to the main train station. Not really walkable to the rest of Munich though. The room we rented was clean and spacious for a hostel. The staff wasn't very friendly, but that was the only downside of our stay

    It is quite hard to find a hotel in Central Munich for a reasonable price. Most rooms with private bathroom were >£100 per night. Therefore, I was delighted to find this as a last minute option for £60 per night.I had room 203, huge with an unfurnished balcony, and sleeps 4 in a king plus bunk beds.I found the room to be excellent, the area not so great, which is expected around a city's Central Railway Station.Wifi Strong, good TV stations, clean and comfortable. Recommended if you need this location.

    The room is very sparse but just functional. No wardrobe and little room for hanging clothes. No tea making or coffee facilities in roomNo Air Conditioning - which in summer would be a very hot roomThis is a motel style room - dating back to the 70’s or early 80’s. The bathroom is small The wash tub stopper plug jammed and we had to call maintenance as it was overflowing. The wash tub J pipe leaked underneath flooding the floor We were provided 2 small hand towels for drying after showers and use throughout the day. The room was never cleaned nor sheets or towels changed in 4 day stay. We paid €642 Euro for 4 nights (approx $1200 AUD) - $300 per night. They were vastly overpriced (via Booking .com) compared to other hotels just next door and only 3 doors up ( ie Hotel Bayernland was 1/2 price of A&O and also included breakfast !Hotel Jedermann further up the street was similar to Hotel Bayernland - ie 1/2 price and included breakfast. Staff seemed friendly but not much insight or offers. For the price we paid - highly recommend you look at other hotels mentioned above or other options.

    The hostel is not bad. Big building. The room so so but big. Bathroom inside. The bed not very good not work lamp and charger. Internet slow and only on phone. My tablet can't catch net. I was alone woman with 4 men. Crazy. But any how naybe I will use it next time.
