  After Munich airport being closed due to the snow ❄️, we ended up moving from Munich to Freising and finding this lovely little hotel.   Very bad experience with their staff

  We are leaving the hotel at the moment and we are very disapointed from the staff, room and hygien.We were staying in room sized 10 square meters for 7 nights, which is actually in the basement with no ventilation. Previosly when we booked the room we mentioned that we are two adults and one child and they told us total price for eight night is 932€ but when we came on the reception we were told to pay immediately 1060€ as we did. We had to check out earlier one night cuz of the sickness of one of our familly member and they did nont refund our money for that night.When we walked in the room it was very bad smell and the receptionist told us to let the hot water running in the bathroom and we did it but after 10 minutes the bad smell has appeared again but the receptonist deny it, she said that she does not feel any smell.We had to stay for eight nights in very dirty and bad smelling room with full of spider net with our child.We told reception to send someone to clean the room but they came only once in all 7 days stayin in 10 squear meters in the basement with no ventilation with our child.I do not reccoment anyone this hotel because the stuff is not doing their job at all and thats why the conditions of staying is very bad.If it has -0 evaluation for this hotel i would give it. In addition, you unfortunately sent our cleaner away every time she wanted to clean your room. We find it very unfortunate that you did not give us the opportunity to clean your room.Nevertheless, we thank you for your constructive criticism.   Terrible service and rude staff

  My taxi driver was treated by screaming at him in a Avery racist way. Just because of parking too close to the door. Arrived at 1 am due to a cancelled flight (Lufthansa airline booked the hotel for me and I ended there)Switching from German to English looked like a great effort and that was visible in their expression and attitude towards me.Room included breakfast and at 6 am I needed to leave back to the airport. As breakfast is served from 7, I asked if I could get a take away (or just grab a piece of bread of the buffet that was ready and in front of me)Answer was a NO in a very rude way. I simply did not want to ask more as I was scared to be shouted as my taxi driver was last night.Terrible staff. We accommodate people from all over the world and have done so for 20 years.Our night porter just ordered another taxi from a taxi driver.In this day and age, accusing someone of racism is a serious accusation.   Clean, simple and quiet - all you need for a night close to the airport

  The beds were pleasantly comfortable, even the added fold-out bed for our child. The rooms are small and nothing special but completely sufficient for one night. We found the room very quiet but would have preferred one with Air Conditioning. Ours was located in the sous-terrain and we could open the windows but there was a strong smell of smoke coming in from a nearby fireplace and we were only able to air it out by also opening the door to the hallway. Staff was very nice upon check in and check out. Overall a great value stay and we would consider it again when catching a morning flight out of MUC.   Comfortable and a Great Place to Stay During Octoberfest

  This is a very comfortable hotel to stay at during Octoberfest when prices in Munich are outrageous. It is a great location for walking anywhere in Freising. Very easy access to the airport. Excellent breakfast.The staff is amazing, especially Julius Kochel. We ate at the restaurant just behind the hotel (which is excellent). We had a large group and asked him to tell anyone from our group to go to the restaurant when they came down. When he thought everyone had been notified, he walked over to the restaurant to ensure he had not missed giving the message to everyone. We were notified the night before we were to leave to go on a bike and boat with Rad & Reisen that water levels were too low to get to the Iron Gates. He took the initiative to look up water levels for us and help us with our discussion on what to do.I have never had such great service from the front desk in all my years of numerous travels.
