    Below Expectations

    rating17 Dec 2025

The aparthotel provides basic, functional accommodation. The room size is adequate for one person, though somewhat small for two guests. On a positive note, the bed is comfortable. However, several issues detracted from the overall experience:The kitchenette lights flickered constantly, rendering them unusable. Bathroom lighting was insufficient. The kitchenette equipment is quite limited for guests planning to prepare meals. Carpet was not very clean and soundproof deficient. The television did not function, neither regular TV channels nor the casting and streaming services worked. Despite reporting this issue, no repairs were made during my stay. The staff offered a kind of Chromecast device as an alternative but required either my ID card as deposit or photocopy it. I declined, as this practice appears inconsistent with GDPR principles, which stipulate that personal data collection must be proportionate and limited to what is strictly necessary. Photocopying identity documents should be restricted to situations where verification cannot be achieved through simple inspection, as it puts the citizen at risk of identity theft. When I explained my concerns, the staff response was dismissive, offering no alternative solution. Given that the hotel had already placed a €200 hold on my card for potential damages or incidental charges, requesting additional security for a basic accessory seemed excessive and unprofessional. While the aparthotel serves its purpose, the combination of maintenance issues, unresolved technical problems, and rigid customer service policies left me disappointed, particularly given the nightly rate. For the price point, I expected higher standards and more responsive service.

    Good value for money

    rating25 Oct 2025

Booked here simply because it was cheap. You get what you pay for. I thought the apartment was very clean, everything was working fine except the towel rail. Saw some reviews about it being noisy but it was absolutely silent - we must have had a room at the back. Staff were super friendly.Distance to bus/station/old town is fabOnly downside was the street was very shady. We were very conscious of pick pockets and a lot of beggars which was really sad to see.

Poor state of rooms allotted to us

    rating29 Sept 2025

I had booked 2 studio apartments for my trip to Munich on 2nd September. Am a member of Accor Hotels and hence chose this place as a convenient stay. When we had checked in, we felt the air conditioner wasn't working but since the room was just given to us around 2pm, I assumed that it would get cooler in time. I was a bit surprised by a pedestal fan in one of the rooms but didn't pay much attention to that then. We left for lunch and walked around the market square area in Marine Platz. When we returned in the evening, we found both the room not cooling at all. I went down to the reception and complained about the non-functioning air conditioner in both the rooms. I wanted the rooms to be changed but the receptionist couldn't accommodate the request claiming that all rooms have been allotted and nothing was available. He could not even offer another pedestal fan and also told us the technician could attend to the problem the following doing. It wasn't going to help us in any way as we were checking out the following day (thank god for that!). We slept by keeping the window open and had to endure noise all night as the hotel is situated in a busy road. We did not get good sleep because of uncomfortable temperature in the room as well as noise from the road. When checking out the following day, i demanded to speak to the property manager about the terrible situation that we were in. I pointed to the manager that the problem existed perhaps even earlier as evidenced by the pedestal already placed in one of the two rooms and that the property failed to fix the situation and went ahead allotting the rooms that were in terrible condition. I had specifically demanded that there should be some sort of compensation for the poor state of the rooms and the inconvenience we were subjected to through the night. She promised to speak to the general manager of the property and revert by email about a resolution to the complaint. But till date, i haven't received any email with such resolution. I had placed great faith in Accor Brand only to be let down seriously.

Acceptable for short stay, would not reccomend for longer stay

    rating04 Aug 2025

We stayed for 3 nights and while the location was decent, we felt like as a hotel it was rather lacking. It's a fine place if you just need a place to sleep after touring the city, but if you actually need amenities and comfort: I would not recommend it. Pros: - About 15m walk to Old Town, so pretty convenient.- Fridge was nice and large. - Free Coffee 24/7.- Receptionists were quick to answer any questions and inquiries.- Bathroom was clean.- Parking on site.- No noise issues during my stay.Cons: - The street it's on is a bit sketchy at night.- Despite being advertised to have a kitchen, there's tons of rules regarding stove usage and breaking said rules results in a fine. So we ended up not using the stove at all, which kind of defeated the purpose of taking this hotel in the first place. - We were hoping to use the laundry, but there were times when the laundromat door would be locked out entirely. It seems the lock was broken entirely, and if a staff member wasn't around, no one could get in. It also costed 6 euro!- Cleanliness was an issue here and there. One of our pillows was stained yellow and was quite gross. We wanted to use the kettle, but it was stained with something sticky.- Didn't feel like they provide enough towels for the stay, and trying to request for required you to go all the way to reception. - While we stayed there was construction everywhere around the area. Our room's window faced a courtyard, but it was filled with rubble from the construction.
