Clean but lacks any room refreshments or kettle

    rating02 Nov 2025

Easy to get to from a couple of train stops and first impression on arrival to the desk was good. Entering the room I was surprised that for a single/double occupancy room it had two bunk beds but that was no issue. The room was minimalistic but clean. There was A/C however ability to open the window was nice and my preferred option. I was staying for 6 nights and the lack of refreshment options was a concern. Luckily there was a Lidl next door open most days between 7am-8pm but a problem when all you want is a hot drink. The main issue with the hotel is the small breakfast choice and at 13.90, expensive for what I had. The bread was always stacked up in reception for the next day so didn’t fancy that option, which left me with a boiled, slice of cheese and a small coffee daily. The biggest problem was that I had a B&B rate but daily I was told that I needed to pay and had to then calmly explain to reception every time mid-breakfast that they were incorrect and I had paid. The first time they would not believe me and I had to pay again which was refunded. This did ruin the breakfast and a large part of the hotel experience. Knowing what to expect, if on my own and needing somewhere for one night and short notice, I might return but would also be looking at alternatives with better facilities. For longer stays, I would look elsewhere.

    Family Stay Munich

    rating28 Sept 2025

Had a family stay and happy to check in early. The staff were pleasant at first but we were never acknowledged another time going past the main desk. Room was clean and tidy, could do with a kettle, fridge and basic cutlery to make the visit easy. Saving grace is the amazing supermarket next door with in house cafe, the Italian restaurant next to that and the very easy access to the underground transport network which was easy to navigate. The hotel felt like a blend between a backpackers and a hotel but must say was very quiet and no noise at night noting most guests staying there were going to Octoberfest.

    Clean but not great

    rating22 Sept 2025

Hotel was good price, clean, and great location for Oktoberfest (about 6 min away via scooter) and right next to Edeka which was good for breakfast. The room was quite cramped for 3 people. Air conditioning didn't work well at all and window opened a crack but was noisy outside. Was on a busy street and people often yammering outside at all hours. One front desk person seemed to speak English and boy the older breakfast lady needs an attitude adjustment. She snapped at my buddy and apparently other guests we bumped into struggled with her coldness too. I asked her for butter because they were out using google translate and she rolled her eyes at me and seemed bothered I asked her. I personally wouldn't stay again.

    Decent Hotel

    rating23 May 2025

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It was quite the distance from the old town and the train station, but right next to a tram and metro station that were both easy to use. They are down the road from a gas station with snacks. Not many restaurants nearby. Breakfast costs extra. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water got hot quickly. It was quiet.

Average - you get what you pay for

    rating23 Jan 2020

Very basic, standard, average hotel. Interior is definitely not nice, no Charme. Rooms towards the main road are noisy. Mattress was awful, suggest to swop it for a new one. The elevator was not properly functioning and not stopping at our floor - we tried a few times. Rooms are decent, clean and lets call it „efficient“. Breakfast is solid too, very basic, nothing special. Receptionist was tired, seems they might be working long shifts (saw her in the early evening and next morning again).Positive: supermarket (Lidl) right next door, few restaurants in close range, 5-10 min walk. Conclusion: Average hotel, clearly nothing more. Can you expect more for this cheap price? Not really. Anyway, if I have a choice,I would opt for a different hotel during my next trip.
