Nice hotel and kind staff, but the accessible room needs serious improvement

    rating25 May 2026

Nice hotel and kind staff, but the accessible room needs serious improvementWe stayed at this hotel in Munich in an accessible room for wheelchair users. Overall, the hotel itself is very nice. The reception team and all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms were also clean and tidy. However, unfortunately, the accessible room was not truly accessible for a wheelchair user. The room was too crowded with beds, chairs, and small tables, which made it very difficult to move around freely or turn the wheelchair comfortably. The bathroom also needs improvement. There were not enough grab bars in the shower area, and the shower was not comfortable or practical for a wheelchair user. The toilet was also difficult to use, as it was not possible to transfer freely from the wheelchair to the toilet without help. In addition, the sink and mirror were too high. A wheelchair user sitting near the sink would need assistance to wash their hands and would not even be able to see their face in the mirror.Because of these issues, the accessible room did not provide a good experience for us, even though the staff and the hotel atmosphere were very pleasant.Breakfast was okay and offered a variety of dishes, but many items were served in very small portions. For example, spreads like hummus or cheese came in tiny dishes with only a couple of spoonfuls, which made it feel a bit uncomfortable to take or finish them, especially when they were meant to serve many guests. In summary, the hotel has many positive qualities, especially the kind staff and cleanliness, but the accessible room needs serious attention and redesign in order to truly meet the needs of wheelchair users.

Great hotel, didn't like the area

    rating30 Mar 2026

Quaint and cute, great sized room and an awesome shower/bath combo with great water pressure. Bed was comfy enough and the bedding very cozy. All the staff was very friendly.I have mixed feelings about the location. It was very close to the central station (HBF) and easy walk into the old town/city center. However, the neighbourhood isn't that nice and there's a lot of strip clubs nearby. I never felt unsafe and didn't have any trouble but definitely wasn't fully comfortable walking around (especially after dark) as a solo female traveller.

    Hotel with 3 single beds

    rating06 Dec 2025

This hotel is good for 3 people as they have triple beds, which was hard to find in Munich. Good location about 15 minutes walk from downtown. Will be able to find Lebanese food and Turkish desserts in the area. Comfortable beds but poor thin pillows. This has been mentioned many times by many travellers in other websites. Can also be noisy when sirens ring in the night. Breakfast is simple and not worth the extra cost.

Ok for a 1 night stay

The staff was fantastic and super friendly. Good location near the train station. Clean rooms. The only issue was loud people outside in the parking lot from about 1230am till 130am.

This was a very good experience

    rating15 Sept 2025

My husband and I, along with our 2 adult children, recently traveled to Munich and stayed here. We needed three beds, so they pulled one bed apart to make two which served us well. We enjoyed interacting with the front-desk and breakfast staff, and they were very accommodating to print something for us and translate something for us into English. There is no AC in the room, but they provided an extra fan so each bed had a dedicated fan. The window opens some, but since we were on the first floor, we didn't want to leave it wide open at night. They made a restaurant recommendation that turned out to be one of our favorite meals. As long as it's not hot outside, you'll greatly enjoy your stay at this hotel!
