    Not a great area but close to station.

    The room as clean, albeit a little strange with a swivel TV/ mirror in the middle. Comfortable bed, good shower. The hotel reception did not seem to monitor who came and went, which is not good in this area of Munich. It’s a mixed cultural area, we saw lots of police and rough sleepers just outside. Not recommended for single female travellers. The upside is, 3 minutes walk from the station and underground.

    I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Cocoon Hauptbahnhof.I have travelled to more than 30 countries, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had with hotel staff. The reception staff member named Mark was extremely rude and unprofessional during my interaction.I arrived in the morning and was given a room at around 11:00 AM. The hotel charged €20 claiming it was for early check-in, which I accepted. However, when I later asked for the invoice, they incorrectly listed the €20 charge as “late check-out” instead of early check-in, which was misleading.When I asked for clarification, the staff member was arrogant and not helpful at all. This kind of behavior and billing practice is very disappointing for a hotel that serves international travelers.I hope the hotel management looks into this matter and improves the professionalism and transparency of their reception staff.

    Small room, but a very comfy bed. It was a very quiet location, yet a good 20 minute, or so, walk to the city center. The train station was very close to the hotel.

    It was generally a good place to stay. It is definitely a European style small room. No mini frig or coffee in rooms. They do have free water station in lobby and a full breakfast buffet available for purchase. About 8 minutes walk to main train station. Lena and Vanessa at the front desk were very friendly and helpful!

    Terrible experience – leaking shower ignored by staff

    I stayed here for 3 nights. On the first morning at 7am I reported that the shower was flooding the room and running out the front door. I used all the towels to mop it up.When I came back at 8pm, nothing had been done. The wet towels were still in the shower, no one had checked the room, and no replacement towels were provided.Staff showed no interest when I complained. No apology, no attempt to fix the issue, no offer of fresh towels.Basic maintenance and customer service were completely lacking. Wouldn’t stay here again.
