    Nice hotel outside the city centre of Munich

    The hotel is located in Garching at the research hub.It’s inside a new facility and the interior is also new with a fresh nice design.My room was big with a very good kingsize bed.The bathroom is also big with enough space for personal belongings and a really big shower stall.The staff was very friendly, only the box with shower cream was completely empty.I didnt check before starting,..Housekkeping has to check that before the room clearance.If you do not want to go to in the city centre of Munich this hotel is very good.Otherwise it’s too far away.

    Stayed one night during busy Oktoberfest period. Nice experience with one - very unfortunate - sour aftertaste. To the experience: friendly efficient check-in staff. Very quick which is pleasant given we were a bit in a hurry as we got stuck in traffic heavily before the national holiday. Got a nice spacious room. Perfectly clean. WLAN signal strong and reliable. Went out for dinner in town - the hotel is located adjacent to the U6 terminus which makes is superbly convenient to go into town using public transportation. Had the complimentary beer at the bar before going to bed (they have a special discount offer dependant on your Bonvoy status which we took advantage of) Slep well - very quiet - no noise at all. Enjoyed the breakfast. Very nice choice and top quality produce - a breakfast way above average (also for higher tier hotels in the Marriott brand). Also there, very friendly and helpfull staff. Checked out. And here comes the aftertaste: when dropping the key cards, the agent appeared to be a bit confused as to the total balance. Given our tier discount, the bar cheque will net to zero. We explained to her, she did confirm that our bill will foot to room-charge only (which is correct). A few hours later, I am getting three emails with all sorts of invoices. One invoice for the room charge (which is correct), one invoice for the bar with a credit position on it that was not credited (and only once, vs what we were promised: twice - one credit for each adult) and a third invoice with a netting off of two position, footing to zero, that make no sense whatsovever. That is annoying and unfortunate. And a hassle that I could well do without. And it is unfair towards all the other staff members that did such an excellent job. Check-out is the last thing you remember which is why also that process should work just perfectly. Let's wait and see if they manage to sort out the invoices.

    The hotel and rooms are beautiful and clean. Everything is new and has a good taste. But… No charging stations for electric cars (in Germany!!!), no proper training for the reception team (they lack basic information) and a breakfast of 25€ per person is high for me.

    Outside the city center, but a pleasant hotel and a fair price

    Stayed for 2 nights for opening day of Wiesn. It's about 30 minutes from the city center on the U6, but the station is a one minute walk from the lobby. I enjoyed the spacious suite I used Bonvoy SNA in advance to secure. I actually liked the quiet area, and slept well. It was significantly less than other Bonvoy properties for the nights I booked, and I was happy with my choice. The time spend on the U-bahn was totally worth saving hundreds of euros.

    Stayed here for a game at the Allianz Arena, very convenient location in a modern newly built up area, only 11 minutes to the arena, and around 25 minutes to Munich center by Car, and also a subway station right next door. Parking is available underground, with easy access to the hotel via an Elevator, however quite expensive. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern. Definitely recommend booking a stay here.
