    Great hotel, perfect location in the old town near the Christmas and fresh markets. Room, bed, pillows and shower were great no complaints.Free Mini Bar was also a bonus.

    Location Location Location! The Location of this hotel is perfectly placed in the outdoor Market and Squares!!! We travelled with 20 people and all of us were happy with the Location.The restaurant staff were amazingly Kind and accommodating! The front reception staff would benefit in taking a hospitality course. I was Shusht (hand to my face) several time when I was checking in with our friends as we were trying to ask questions! Very off Putting!!!! The staff in the restaurant salvaged the lack of where these individuals failed miserably!!!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Deutsche Eiche. We arrived before check-in with all of our luggage in hand. The staff gladly stored our luggage and provided us with vouchers for complimentary glasses of prosecco on the rooftop terrace. They notified us when the room was ready; it was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower, which was nice. Another bonus was the mini-fridge, which was re-stocked daily with water, soda, and beer - at no extra cost. The location is great; less than a 10 minute walk to the Marienplatz and Vitualienmarkt, as well as several beer halls, including the famous Hofbräuhaus. They have a very nice buffet breakfast in their restaurant every morning, and we enjoyed dinner there one evening as well. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich.

    Good location, but parking is tricky

    We stayed for one night and appreciated the excellent location—just a short walk to Viktualienmarkt and the historic city center. The room was quite dark but quite spacious for Munich and the staff were friendly and helpful.However, the facilities felt a bit dated, and parking was not straightforward. There’s no space to stop in front of the hotel to unload, and nearby garages present trade-offs: Schrannenhalle is closer but very expensive for day parking, while Isarparkhaus (used in collaboration with the hotel) offers cheaper rates but is about 500 m away.A decent option for a short stay if you’re traveling light and not relying on a car.

    This is the greatest Hotel in München I have ever stayed at.The welcome was so warm and polite - the receptionist was so polite and serviceminded - 10 out of 10!Our Hotel Apartment has everything and even the mini bar is free. It is located in a very nice hood with shops, restaurants and Viktualienmarkt just outside the door. I can highly recommend this hotel!
