    A little dated, but the hotel is clean and that's what a traveling needs. Few services in Hotel lobby, restricted coffee service, even guests who are happy to pay for a cup of java. Many nice restaurants in the center directly behind the hotel. This is a business hotel and nthing fluffy.

    I stayed at this hotel during a conference, where I was a speaker and brought my family along. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. My child was incorrectly booked as a separate guest instead of sharing the room with me, which resulted in a very high bill of €390 for child and adult staying for one double room for two nights— much more than a regular booking for one adult and one child.On top of that, the air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and there was no proper ventilation in the bathroom, making the stay uncomfortable. Check-in and check-out were also unnecessarily slow, with long waiting times as staff tried to understand the booking.For the price charged, I expected much better service and functioning facilities. I’ve contacted the hotel to request a refund or correction of the booking error, and I hope they take this seriously and fix their process.

    Nice stay in Arabellapark

    We were unable to book a room closer to the city center for Oktoberfest, so we stayed at the Sheraton Four Points in Arabellapark. We had a king size bed on the 17th floor overlooking Munich. The lights of the Oktoberfest festival lit up the sky at night from our balcony; what a beautiful scene. The bathroom was spacious with a separate tub and shower. The breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful and included in the price of the stay with the appropriate Bonvoy selection. The underground train station (U) had a convenient stop (9 minute walk) near the hotel to traverse to and from the city. There were several restaurants within walking distance. The two negatives: 1) the pillows were not fluffy enough for my taste and 2) we scheduled a cab through the hotel to take us to the airport at 5:30 am and we were told the fare was €80 and when the driver arrived he said it would be €100 or more. Overall it was a nice stay.

    Review: Four Points by Sheraton Munich Arabellapark – Room 2068I paid €1030 for 4 nights in Room 2068 and honestly, I’ve stayed in budget hostels that offered more comfort and value. As a well-travelled person, I can safely say this is one of the worst hotels I’ve experienced.The “twin room” was barely big enough for two people, felt dated, and screamed out for modernisation. From the 20th floor the view might have been nice — if only the balcony didn’t look like it was one gust of wind away from collapsing.The air conditioning was prehistoric, wheezing along on full blast with about as much cooling power as a desk fan from the 1990s. The TV offered German channels only, and even then without sound. Reported it twice, only to be told housekeeping had “gone home” so nothing could be done. Apparently, at this Sheraton, once the cleaners leave, the entire hotel grinds to a halt.The bathroom was no better: a dribbling shower head awkwardly fixed over a bath. A bath. In 2025. In a supposedly four-star hotel. Who on earth thought that was a good idea?And the pièce de résistance? Breakfast at €28 per person, per day. For that kind of money I expected Michelin-starred eggs. What I got was the most laughable “rip-off” of the entire stay. €28 for the privilege of remembering just how badly you’ve been overcharged.The whole place seems obsessed with keeping the reception shiny while everything behind the scenes — the rooms, the facilities, the guest experience — is neglected.Overall? Overpriced, outdated, and utterly underwhelming. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free.
