Location

This hotel is the place to stay when attending exhibitions and conferences, an oasis of peace in the Munich suburb of Aschheim/Dornach. From this excellent location it is only 1 km to the Neue Messe/ICM exhibition centre and 15 min by car to the city centre. Guests are also only 5 min away from bars and restaurants and about 10 min from links to the public transport network.

Facility

This hotel was renovated in 2025. The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 134 rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Services include a laundry service. A business centre with projector, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available.

    Poorly hotel and unorganized staff.

    Poorly hotel, rather boring, plus very unorganized staff in reception. Food is terribly booring too, plusthe waiter was angry that I wanted to bring a cup to the room, despite everybody else did. So far too exspensive for the price, but they nutirize from the Messe. If it was not close to the Messe they would not survive for long. Due to wrong important information at the reception, I was told it was paid, I ended up paying my self as company card could not be used from home. So dear hotel staff, please do not comment on this as it have been discussed in email. Case is closed, but as you are a "business" hotel, this should not happen!

    We liked this hotel, modern, clean, large room and in this case occupied by a number of "Swifties". Whilst the shower was very good that it was entirely made of transparent glass was a little off putting.The staff were friendly and it was nice to sit in the courtyard bar in the late evening.

    MISREPRESENTATION OF HOTEL ON WEBSITE

    I booked accommodation for a group of delegates attending a WEEK long congress at the end of July. Website looked good and overall reviews were fine.The website is a COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION of the reality experienced at the hotel. We paid premium prices for below substandard rooms & customer service at a 4-star hotel. On arrival at the hotel my client was SHOCKED by her first impression.The staff at the reception were not helpful or able to offer solutions to any of the issues presented to them.There was no one available to help her move her 3 big suitcases to her room. The hotel was dirty – paint coming off the walls. Dirty & smelly carpets in the hallways.A POORLY maintained hotel.One of our guests was told they had to pay for an early check in, when the room had been booked from the previous day. Still waiting for a refund on this.In her room, room 115• The aircon wasn’t working. • Her room was very dirty & unkept. The vinyl on the floor was peeling off. See images below.• I have also included images of the mattress in the room vs what is on their website. WOW!The staff at the hotel took her to see other ‘nicer’ rooms but didn’t have enough of them available to cater for all our guests. We had NO option but to move our guests to another hotel. I have assisted this group with MANY overseas bookings before and I have NEVER had to move hotels before. To confirm the booking, we had to make the full payment of over EUR8000 upfront. They are now only willing to pay us back just over EUR1000, even after I cancelled the rest of the stay 24 hours in advance of the next check in. A formal letter of complaint was sent to Group Reservations. I received a VERY generic response in return with the notification of a measly EUR1000 refund to be expected. I did not accept this.The person I have been dealing with is now on leave, I cannot get hold of any senior management at Melia Group Reservations and there has been no further progress made to resolving my complaint. It is now Mid-August & this happened at the end of July.I am BEYOND frustrated and shocked.

    To less value for a lot of money. On the website they advertise with a bar, a restaurant, free fitness and airco in the room. Well, the bar was closed and doesnt look it has been open recent. The reception gave us a card which announced the opening hours of the restaurant. It didnt open at all. The fitness was a place with 4 machines. And the airco isnt working as airco but more as a fan. So it was really hot in the room. Minibar for free but no tee available. All in all, deceiving website and a for to expensive.

    Bad doors key experience

    I can’t find good things to tell here , just briefly , bad experience check in , because the stuff she is not attendance all the time so and stuff got bored . When I asked them to give 2 beds room she make her best to convince me to take double while they have 2 beds !! . The key of door for all the guests in hotel is bad bad bad ( not working ) too much attempts to open the door , big fault they have . Just nice free parking and close to supermarkets .
