This hotel is located are the centre of the city, between the main train station and the 'Deutsches Theater'. The Neue Münchner trade centre and Munich airport may easily be reached within 20 and 40 minutes respectively by making use of public transport that departs from the station that lies some 100 m from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1900. 97 rooms, including suites, 38 single rooms and 18 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park (for a fee). Booked 2 rooms with the flexibility to change the dates in the booking, however the hotel refuses to honor that. Dishonest.

The hotel is centrally located. It is walking distance from the train station and is surrounded by different eateries and has a great grocery store a few feet away. I am not sure if it is considered the safest area. But we never felt unsafe and welcomed the diversity and variety of reasonably priced restaurants available. That being said, we were always back in our room by about 8 pm. Although our room was compact, it had everything we needed (refrigerator, TV with English channels and access to our streaming services. coffee and tea maker, hair dryer, safe, bottled water, etc.). The hotel staff was very helpful when we complained about our room being too hot and helped remedy the problem quickly. And the front desk lady even warmed up some leftovers in the microwave for us. Breakfast was decent with eggs, bacon, beans, hot dogs, cold cuts, sweets, fresh fruit, juices, and a special machine that made a variety of coffees. There isn't much for a vegetarian who doesn't want to overindulge in sweets. My wife loved the pistachio croissants. We would highly recommend staying at this location.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Germania in Munich! The location was perfect — easy walking distance to the main train station and many of the city’s attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean.I had arrived an earlier than expected, and was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready ahead of time!! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and a credit to the hotel. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality, location, and service provided. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich!

A really pleasant experience. Nice staff and decorRoom 403 was quiet as at the back of the hotel so no road noise etc and out the way so no people passing infront of the doo. Effective and quite aircon, comfy bed, blackout curtains, smart tv, good coffee machine. Bathroom is small and shower cubicle smaller. Bathroom towels also small. Overall though a great room

The restroom really smells. The smell is horrible and unacceptable for a four star hotel and the price I paid for a four-star hotel.The reception is very rude. Here are the facts and experience I had with this lady. When I checked out, she asked me if everything is good, I told her yes, except the toilet smells heavily. I meant it as a constructive feedback as all four star hotel should appreciate a real feedback from customers. However, this lady replied and I quote: oh that's strange, our girls usually do a good job. This reply implies that I am lying and not really an appropriate one as a four star hotel reception.It's actually okay for me. However, what I find ridiculous is what happened after. This lady implied that she doesn't understand the word toilet in English, so my boyfriend (who is a German) started to explain to her what I meant in German. Then everything after that was in German despite the fact that I was the one who checked out, who handed her the room key, who started to speak to her in English in the first place. This lady just started to talk EVERYTHING in German even though I was standing right in front of her.This is absolutely rude and offensive!!! She didn't really give me any explanation as to the smelly toilet, nor did she even recognize my presence 80% of the interaction. I am wondering if she would stick to English if I don't have an Asian Looking face?????
