    We had exceptional service, friendly staff, and a clean, spacious room. The location was perfect. We felt very safe and there were plenty of restaurants and grocery right there. The rooftop bar was very nice as well. I highly recommend and will stay there if I return to Munich.

    Super convenient for centre of old town Munich

    Excellent location, very friendly staff, convenient and rooms modern and well maintained. 5 minute stroll to Marientplaz, with wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops right outside. Nice shower. Lighting could have been a bit better, maybe access to other international TV channels and breakfast was pretty average

    My wife, daughter, and 3 young adult grandsons stayed in this hotel for 10 days. Excellent place! It is what I would call a "boutique" hotel. Nothing pretentious . Just a clean, well run hotel with an outstanding young staff. It is barely two blocks from the Marienplatz, an easy walk. Perfect for the Munich Christmas Market. A major bank with 24/7 ATMs in a safe environment is a block away. The U- and S- bahn station is 2 blocks away, Restaurants seem to be every few feet.The rooms are comfortable . The housekeeping staff is great. The breakfast is optional but well worth it. The hotel has a bar that seems to be a gathering place for well-behaved Gen Z patrons. It was a nice place to go for a nightcap. Access to the room floors and to the hotel itself is via card access. The front door is controlled by room card or by the reception/concierge on the 5th floor.Every member of the staff was friendly and put up with my crummy German. They all spoke excellent English. At the risk off leaving names out , I will list the staff members whom we dealt with most: Justus, Helena, Philipp, Lina - all members of the "asylum staff."My wife, daughter, and I strongly recommend this little hotel. If we return to Munich in the future, this will be our "home." One more thing: the price is reasonable!!

    We had the most wonderful experience staying at Haus im Tal during our honeymoon! The location is absolutely perfect — just steps from Marienplatz and walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Munich.From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with a complimentary drink at check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch. A special thank you to Gloria, who truly made our stay unforgettable — she was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our experience exceptional.The beautiful surprise from Gloria and the HiT team was a highlight of our trip. We felt seen, celebrated, and so well taken care of throughout our stay.Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich — especially couples looking for a romantic and stylish place to stay. We’ll absolutely back!
