  Relaxing boutique experience in central convenient location

  Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Conveniently near main train station and easy walk to Old Town sites. Room and common areas provided a quiet, relaxing vibe during busy travel days. Breakfast was ample and varied. Some parts of the street on the way to train station were mildly scruffy with hostels and immigrants, but I’m 61 and always felt comfortable and safe any time of day.

  We spent four nights at this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Upon arriving from a transatlantic flight, we were happy to learn that our room was ready for us at 10 in the morning. Although our room was well appointed, we found that it was a little dusty in some areas (ex: inside the closet). The hotel is located close to the main train station (4-5 minutes walk) and is about a 12 minute walk from Marienplatz. Breakfast was included in our room rate and we are glad it was because there did not seem to be many breakfast options in the neighborhood. Food was fresh, good, and there was a plenty of selection. Overall, we found it was very good value for our money.

  We spent 7 nights in Nov-Dec. The location is great. 3 minutes to the train station. About a minute to a big grocery store and an ATM. The area is almost all people from Africa, but they don't bother anyone. There are a few beggars in the area. The rooms are big enough, with a safe, stocked mini-bar, and expresso machine. The room we were in was hot. We had to sleep with the window open. We turned the heat off, but it made no difference. Also, the bed was pretty worn out. We were sleeping in holes. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with a large selection.

  Good base to explore Munich

  Nice modern style hotel in a decent spot to get to most of the main attractions of the city, close to the railway station if arriving by train. Actually has its own parking underground and in the courtyard which is closed at night but I think you have to pre book the space if arriving with your car and I think around €15-20 a night. The room is small but a decent amount of storage for a short stay with small fridge and coffee making. Shower is decent. We had the window open as the room was a bit warm and being winter the air conditioning was off, our room backed on to the courtyard which could be a little noisy at night and in the early morning with people coming back from a night out drinking, if the window was shut you could not hear this. I have marked the rating down due to the beds and the cleaning of the room. The mattress, at least in our room 406 resembled a bit of a hammock with 2 large indents in it which made the bed a bit firm and uncomfortable. We were here 3 nights and the first morning we asked the cleaner if she could do something, I think she did put another topper on which made the indents slightly less but not completely gone. For the rest of our stay we slept half on our duvet with the other half as cover which helped but if all the rooms are like this then they really need to invest in new mattresses. Also felt the room could have done with a decent clean. The bedside lamps were coated in dust as was the TV, and the glass door to the bathroom was covered in fingerprints. These things can be easily rectified. The staff on reception were all really nice and helpful. The reception area has been done nicely and there is a small bar here also. A lot of people have said the area is a bit on the seedy side, I sort of understand why this is being said, there seams to be quite a lot of young men in hoodies around but hubby and I did not feel unsafe at all walking back at night. The breakfast is very, very good, they have everything you could possibly want including some warm items which looked very nice, and the staff were really attentive here and took obvious pride in what they were doing. Even coming down toward the end of service you never felt you were eating the remains of anything, everything was tidied up and looked good to the eye. Think the guys in charge were doing an excellent job and it was very much appreciated. Would recommend for a short stay.

  Booked this hotel at the last minute as my usual one was fully booked, so glad i did. What a great hotel, Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Room was big with a great sized bathroom, Excellent water pressure and temperature. It’s the small things. Breakfast was excellent with a nice assortment. Would definitely stay again. Close to the train station and tram stops.
