This appealing hotel is centrally located only a matter of minutes from the main train station. Munich's international airport is 40 minutes away from the hotel. The centre of Munich with a diverse range of shops and entertainment venues is just a 5-minute walk away. The closest underground station, Theresienwiese, to be found 200 m away

Facility

The hotel was modernised as recently as 2023. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, a TV room, a laundry service, a conference room, a projector, a banquet hall and a smoking area. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features.     Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2026.The hotel is very clean and modern with a boutique feel.Rooms are small, but no smaller than other European hotels. Rooms are very clean and modern.Location is great as it's maybe a really nice 20 minute walk to Marienplatz and only a 5 minute walk to the central train station, and the neighbourhood is very safe. The price was extremely reasonable for what was offered.I would definitely stay here again!     Where Warmth Meets Welcome: A Memorable Stay in the Heart of Munich

    I stayed at the Hotel München City Center for five nights while attending an international conference held at the hotel. Choosing to stay at the same venue was definitely the right decision.Overall, my experience was excellent. The entire team was wonderful, very welcoming, and always ready to help. I would especially like to highlight the reception team, both morning and evening, who were outstanding and made my stay very comfortable.A special thank you to Julian, who was extremely helpful and provided very useful information throughout my stay. His support and professionalism really stood out and made a big difference.I would also like to recognize Raquel, Alejandra, and Roberto from the reception team for their friendliness and excellent service.The breakfast team was also very good, and I would particularly like to mention Rita for her kindness and great service. In addition, the bus staff were very friendly and welcoming.I truly enjoyed my stay here.     The staff is very courteous and attentive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. All in all, I felt very at home.The location is also excellent; it’s just a short walk to the city center or the main train station. There’s also a subway station very close by.The breakfast selection was excellent; there was something for everyone.My only criticism is the fitness room: it’s far too small and has far too few machines; I couldn’t do the workout I wanted at all. The sauna wasn’t working either... That leaves a lot to be desired.Otherwise, very satisfying and pleasant.     Beautiful hotel with outstanding and accommodating staff.     Hotel 10 minute from railway station and likewise city attractions, good location overall. Staff on reception and bar very pleasant. Typical city centre hotel. For Melia hotel breakfast was Ok, not the best but what did surprise me was NO Toaster, breakfast room very busy and tight. Staff always busy clearing tables so no clutter lying about.
