Location

The hotel enjoys a unique location in a pleasant district in northern Munich, approximately 20 km from the city centre. It is perfect for both business and leisure travellers. Facility

The apartment hotel was renovated in 2024. 132 non-smoking rooms and a suite are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. Children can enjoy the playground. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. 2 wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. 8 family rooms are available for parents with children.

The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Subject to charge: Ayurveda treatments. Third-party operators offer Ayurveda treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the restaurant (non-smoking, à la carte and high chairs). Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) ensures a great start to the day. At dinner, guests order their favourite dishes à la carte. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, organic food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The apartment hotel also offers special catering options. The drinks menu includes a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as house favourite brands.

    I stayed in this hotel frequently like 15 years back and nothing changed! The atmosphere, the friendliness of all staff, the knowledge, and the quality of food, breakfast and dinner, is still the same 5 stars I remember! We stayed in the apollo building which is a new extension to the hotel and had a great experience! Balcony, comfy beds, super clean and renovated bathroom. Keep up the good work guys!     This place is great! Staff friendly. Room clean. Room is soundproof. Went for October fest was the best breakfast buffet. I could have stayed there for a week and not tried everything, They have a super cute sauna room , salt cave and whirlpool that I loved. Best price and only 25 mins by Uber to downtown.     I stayed at Olymp Munich for 2 nights while on a solo trip. I had read good reviews of the hotel on Trip Advisor, hence decided on it. The nearest train station is at Eching which is at a walk of 15 minutes and since I didn't know what bus to take, I had to walk to the hotel with my luggage and was totally exhausted by the time I reached. Do find out about the bus route beforehand as it stops right in front of the hotel so you won't have to drag the luggage, all the way. The hotel itself is a pleasant place. It has some kind of a vintage feel to it. The staff here speaks English. I found them friendly and approachable, especially the front desk staff. Polina here took time out to help me plan my local tourist travel within Munich, guiding me about the places to go to and the public transport to take. The breakfast spread here is good when compared to similar rated hotels elsewhere, but if you are from India like me, or if you are a vegetarian or aren't a meat eater, you'd find it limiting. My only problem here was the absence of any fan/AC in the room (I didn't ask for it either so I don't know if they provide it separately). I visited in June 2024 when the weather got really humid. Walking to the hotel from the station also left me drenched in sweat. And, the rooms here don't have an intercom so you will have to go physically to the reception for anything you need. There is a restaurant at the property which is decent too. For budget eating, there is a supermarket on your way to the train station called REWE where probably you can buy a sandwich. The MUC Airport is close by, but again do find out about the best way to get there. The hotel staff suggested me to walk to the train station and thereon to the airport, but I had a lot of luggage to walk with it. I ended up taking a cab which was really expensive since the hotel told me it would cost around €35, but the lady driver charged me €45. You could take an Uber which should be little less expensive but you have to book it in advance. So, please do your research before planning your exit from Munich. As for the hotel, it was a good experience staying here. I definitely recommend it.     Conveniently located in a quiet residential area. Walkable to supermarket, pharmacy, train station, and only 15 min. drive to MUC, 20-30 min. to BMW Museum and City Centre. One of the highlights is their buffet breakfast, note it ends at 10am on weekdays and 11am on Sat. & Sun. We had the one-bedroom apartment with a small balcony. Room is quiet with good AC, apartment size good for four ppl, cleanliness is acceptable, bed in bedroom is great, sofa bed in Livingroom is only ok and pillows are too thin; mini bar has fridge with free drinks (super like!), capsule coffee machine (didn't work), but no sink which is a bummer. Plenty of soap for shower and hand wash. The only complaint we have is the see through doors with glass in bedroom and toilet/shower washroom.     Convenient location close to train station, grocery stores, restaurants and a nice quite area. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast!! Offering American & German options. Everyone spoke in English. Staff offered great suggestions to nearby restaurants and places to visit including a nearby lake.
