Location

This hotel is located in the centre of the historical old town. There are several shopping areas surrounding the hotel where guests may explore the different shops, boutiques, bars and lively nightclubs. The nearest ski resort with cross country skiing and a ski lift is 4 km away. It is well worth taking an excursion into the area surrounding Munich with its stunning landscapes.

Facility

9 suites, 38 single rooms and 45 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well.     We enjoyed our stay here. Beds were cozy. Room was sizable. Location was amazingly convenient and felt very safe. Staff were lovely.

    Spent 4 nights there great location very comfortable hotel breakfast was great with a lot of variety a lot of European choices and a lot of American choices they really are catering to all kinds of travelers are room was nice and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and welcoming.

    We have stayed at this lovely hotel 3 or 4 times now, this time with a young baby as well. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful and made our stay a real pleasure. Hotel is well situated and super clean.

    Charming Boutique Gem Steps from Marienplatz

    This is a beautiful and charming boutique hotel just a few blocks from Marienplatz and the famous Glockenspiel. If you’re seeking a Hilton or Steigenberger chain experience, this isn’t it—and that’s precisely its appeal.Most rooms are very nice with updated features, and the suite bathrooms are wonderfully renovated. While rooms are smaller than typical chain hotels, they’re efficiently designed and far more characterful. Breakfast is fantastic with plenty of options served in a vibrant, café-style space that sets the perfect tone for exploring the city.The hotel no longer has an on-site restaurant, but honestly, you won’t miss it. Dozens of excellent Bavarian restaurants are within a five-minute walk—including the world-renowned Hofbräuhaus. There’s also a cozy bar and lounge with dessert options for quieter evenings.The staff was exceptional: courteous, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.If you embrace the charm and character of a classic European boutique hotel, this is an outstanding choice. I’d absolutely return here the next time I’m in Munich.

    This was one of my best hotel experiences. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with arranging transportation from the airport and for skiing. I slept so well - the room was silent. They don’t build them any more like they did in 1490. It’s charming. It’s within easy walking distance to the historic center and, most importantly, the HB Hofbrauhaus. You won’t need a cab to return to the hotel after sampling the local beverages. Breakfast was wonderful and is in a room with a view of the medieval tower. Thank you to the staff - I hope to return soon.
