    Worst 5-Star Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed In

    Worst 5-Star Hotel Experience EverI honestly did not expect such poor service from a 5-star hotel. The reception staff’s attitude, communication, and overall service were close to zero — except for Mr. Mathews, who was the only professional and helpful person there.The bar service was terrible. The staff behaved as if they were doing guests a favour and showed no interest in providing proper service.I had booked a Super King Business room, but instead I was given a standard double room and was even charged extra for it. The hotel description promised a mountain view, but unfortunately my view was just a wall and nearby buildings.The hotel is extremely rigid with its rules. You must check in exactly at the official time. If you arrive even slightly earlier, they charge €10 per hour. I arrived just one hour early and was told I either had to pay or wait until 3 PM.There were not even basic amenities like slippers in the room.Overall, after 22 years of travelling and staying in many hotels, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever booked, and I will definitely never stay here again. The location is also not good, and for the same price you can easily find a much better hotel in the city centre.     The reception a guy was very rude, but Airadyawal I think she is from Indonesia her warm welcome made a big difference, after that The stay was lovely, loved the breakfast which was very good, The location of the hotel is great and close to everything.Location was great and very convenient.     the hotel is located an hour on the train from Munich airport so very convenient for travellers for Octoberfest although the hotel is close to the Octoberfest its not too close (a 20min tram ride away) the hotel itself is very clean and well presented with a short check in prosses, My room 926 was although only medium sized it was still ok the view from the room was the city view with plugs and a fully stocked(fully inclusive) mini bar which was replenished on request my bathroom was huge with both separate bath and shower with the room serviced all three nights of my stay The executive lounge although was quiet (I only saw 5 people in 3 night was fully stocked of drinks and sweets Nicole Krötz, Sonstige at HYPERION Hotel Munchen, responded to this review Dear Eddie,We are couldn't be happier about your awesome rating and we are very thankful for sharing it with us as well as our future guests.     Superb facilities also the location seem pretty nice to access public transportation. The breakfast had all one could ask for. Comfy bed and pillows, the heated floor option in the bathroom took the cake! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to those who want to visit Munich.
