    Spacious room, separated for parents and kids. Overall it was a kids friendly hotel and had nice play areas, and cosy rest areas. There was great breakfast, with breakfast box given by staff to all kids staying at the hotel.     Rudest reception staff I have ever met

    Reception made me feel like I am some kind of an idiot. Was rude, unprofessional, rolled her eyes when we asked if there is a manager on site to complain. As impersonal as a hotel can get, incredibly bad first (and definitely last) impression. We tried to sort out our complaints on site, but she refused, moved to other guests and said no manager was available. So we feel we just have ti complain here. And please - if you are a management of this hotel, don’t bother to reply to this review, instead you should speak with Celine.We travel loads in business and we will be making more complaints about this treatment. This is unacceptable.

    Convenient hotel nearby Munchen Ost Messe

    Ibis Styles Muenchen Ost Messe had a central location in relation to the exhibition area with good transport options into the center of Munich.The room was simply furnished and had a flat screen TV, work desk and air conditioning. Kettle and minibar were not available. The beds were nicely made and very comfortable. The cleanliness was very good.The bathroom was also clean and inviting.Breakfast was simple but inviting with a good selection of cold cuts, breads, cereals and a couple of egg dishes, as well as coffee, tea, juice and milk.The staff were very friendly and attentive, which lifted the overall impression.I would happily stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.     The cleaning of the hôtel was perfect. The day of the check in, there were two receptionist : one very kind, the (a big blonde woman ), the other should be better for a prison reception.For the breakfast restaurant, there was also a very kind employe, an great african man.The access is difficult for a old person ; there is no access from the garage to the reception because the lift was already closed at 4pm, and I had heavy lugages.     Traveling first time since pandemic started I was bit anxious about safety and "new normal". By entering the hotel all my worries are calmed. All IBIS hotels are always clean and tidy but this is extra level: Pencils are single use only then removed for disinfection, disinfection devices everywhere... Rooms smell like fresh disinfected...
