  Amazing Rooftop Suite, Great Location and Exceptional Service!

  We had a wonderful stay at Koos Hotels & Apartments. This property has rooms spread across several buidlings in the same compound. We stayed in the Rooftop Suite,on the 7th floor of the main building. which was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our trip to Germany. It had 2 rooms, one room was with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and there was a common bathroom. The rooms size are enough for 2 people. The elevator opens right inside the suite. The USP of the suite is its large spacious living room and equally large and spacious balcony. Its really worth. There is also washing machine,dish washer and a kitchenette area. What truly made our stay stand out was the incredible team. The staff were very cooperative and polite throughout our visit. Althoguh every staff was good but we would specifically like to thank Jolanta and Lucas for their exceptional hospitality—they were both very helpful. On the last day there was some issue with the elevator but the staff helped us to get our luggages (almost 12 bags) from the 7th floor to the reception.The other good part about this property is its location. Its just walking distance from train station, tram station and the main shopping and dining area Marienplatz.The combination of the great room, good service and great location made for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich!

  Digitally modern, comfortable, great location, good tariff - HIGHLY RECOMMENDRD

  The KOOS Hotel&Apartments is a modern, digital apartment building on the edge of the old town in Munich. “Digital”, as management prefer you to book in and register online before your arrival and access to your room and after-hours to the building are controlled by an app on your mobile phone. We assume this is designed to streamline processes and reduce staff involvement, an objective often not achieved with the more mature and less digitally savvy tourist guests.We had a top floor (6th) apartment with a roof top view of the city from its many windows. Our apartment was a bit quirky, with sloping, attic-style ceilings and angular columns over the bed. It was light and quite spacious, with large living and bathroom areas. The living area incorporated everything; kitchen, dining, lounge and the quirky bedroom area. Whilst the kitchen allowed self- catering, the cooking facilities were restricted to a microwave and cooktop, so basic menu options only, and no dishwasher. There was a limited range of cutlery, crockery, glassware and pots and pans. Fridge and coffee pod machine were available. There is a large supermarket within about 400M, Edeka in Karlsplatz, which sells everything including wine, beer and spirits. Unfortunately it is sub-terrain in Europe’s largest underground shopping complex, so your GPS may struggle. Turn left when you leave KOOS, cross the main road and take the escalator to the underworld. The supermarket is within 50M.Back to the living area. Lots of wardrobe storage area, small dining area and reasonably comfortable bed-sofa. Whilst the bed was very comfortable, access is interesting, as you try to avoid banging your head on the angular columns and ceilings whilst stepping over the encircling obstacle step. Definitely a memorable experience.The bathroom cum laundry is hard to fault; light spacious with plenty of surface area for your toiletries and a very large shower. According to my wife, even I could manage the washing machine so it must be simple and idiot proof. Not much in the way of facilities to dry your clothes (no dryer or clothes horse), except for a pullout line in the shower but ours dried well when hung on hangers in the wardrobe.The location is excellent on the edge of the old town so within easy walking distance of the 3 must see platzas and local street market. On our last visit, we walked along the river to the large English Park and watched the surfers riding the waves in the small, narrow park creek (I kid you not!). There was also a large beer garden where you can buy beer and German sausages. We walked to the KOOS from the central station with our bags so pedestrian access to KOOS is feasible.My Tour Director (wife) tells me that the apartment tariff was very reasonable, the staff are friendly and speak English, there is a bar on the reception floor, and a reasonably priced Italian restaurant within walking distance in the street behind KOOS. So what more could you want? Perhaps an old fashioned room access card if you are digitally incompetent! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  Great room, helpful staff

  Ideal location near enough to the main station and within walking distance of the centre. Swish reception area and brilliant staff. High ceiling and spacious main room and bathroom. Would have preferred a microwave and a dish washer to a washing machine, plus any space for all the washing up to dry, but very good value and clean. The electronic key worked every time. Next time will book an inside room because the emergency vehicle sirens round the clock don’t do anything for good sleep, even on the huge and comfy bed!

  Charged Without Staying – Extremely Concerning

  Absolutely unacceptable experience.I was charged by this hotel without ever making a booking or staying there. I was in Munich due to the Lufthansa strike and stayed at Buddy Hotel that same night—something I can fully prove.The charge was tied to Expedia (a service I do not use), and while Expedia confirmed the error and initiated a refund, the hotel’s response was completely inadequate. I was contacted by Stephanie Klein from Koos Hotel, who suggested this could be an “accidental double booking.” That explanation is simply not credible when no booking was ever made with this property.An unauthorized charge is a serious matter. Instead of addressing it properly, the hotel provided dismissive explanations and showed no real accountability or urgency. This is not just poor service—it reflects a concerning lack of control over billing and customer issues.I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when providing payment details here. A situation that should have been resolved quickly turned into an unnecessarily stressful and poorly handled experience.
