This elegant luxury hotel is located right at the heart of the city of Munich. Enjoying an ideal location opposite the main train station, it is just a short walk to the Stachus and Marienplatz and is the perfect stopover point for those wishing to explore the city's sights or go shopping. Links to the public transport are to be found directly in front of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 381 rooms, including 29 suites and 220 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

The rooms have a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press.     Overall my stay of 4 nights was very satisfactory. Great location across from central train station so direct connection to airport train and regional trains Check in went very well as agent , young female , glasses, Semel (?) Was gracious and gave me room a couple of hours early which was very appreciated as I was coming off 11 hour flight plus 45 minutes from airport on train Maria D from Colombia also very helpful at desk and both agents genuinely interested in providing service Room was very comfortable as was AC as was 85 while I was in town. A shocker for end of May. Bed, linens etc all very nice quality. A little short on bathroom amenities but you could likely get q tips or shower cap from housekeeping. Still , A bit skimpy Restaurant Irmis great for dinner. So good I did separate review for them . At there 3 tines. Suggested improvements: 3 tips Breakfast. No à la carte so they require you but buffet at 42 euros or about $50 US dollars. Not everyone wants a huge breakfast and so I felt this was a policy meant to favor hotel not guest. The buffet did look very worthwhile just way too much food for me Getting a coffee before 8 am was a chore as again you had to get buffet Lobby coffee - not complimentary- didn’t come on line until 8/810 am . This was what I wanted along with a croissant but who hangs out at hotel until past 8am ? Why can’t it start at 7 am like most other hotels ?No concierge staff. If you don’t opt to have a concierge team then train your front desk staff to be more aware of area. A simple question of “ where’s your nearest bank” resulted in blank look from 2 argents. Finally a third helped me but then gave me very cryptic info as to force me to stop and ask in a store. Basic question like “ where’s may I get breakfast near here “ also posed a challenge. Overall, yes pleased with hotel would stay there again, yet could be much better .     Worst stay , apology hard to accept . Poor service during check in, bad F and B service and room cleaning timing

    Disappointing Stay – Service, Recognition, and Safety ConcernsI recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately left feeling disappointed by several aspects of the experience.Arrival ExperienceThe first impression was not a positive one. Upon arrival, a hotel staff member was stationed at the lobby entrance, yet no assistance was offered while we were unloading our luggage from the vehicle. My guest was particularly upset by the lack of support and hospitality shown at that moment, especially given the standards one would expect from a property of this category.What made this more disappointing was that later the same evening, I observed another member of the lobby team proactively assisting arriving guests with their luggage. This demonstrated that such service was available and reinforced the feeling that we had simply been overlooked upon arrival.Titanium Suite Night Upgrade RequestAs a Titanium member, I fully understand that Suite Night Upgrades are always subject to availability and are never guaranteed. However, throughout my stay, suite availability continued to appear on the booking application. While there may have been operational reasons why an upgrade could not be accommodated, no explanation or alternative option was proactively communicated.Clear communication and expectation management would have been appreciated, particularly for loyal members who regularly choose the brand. I have screenshots showing the suite availability displayed online during my stay.Breakfast Area Safety ConcernOn the morning of 20 May 2026, I nearly slipped and fell due to a coffee spill that had been left unattended on the breakfast restaurant floor for an extended period. What was particularly concerning was that the spill appeared to go unnoticed by the breakfast team despite my table being only a short distance away from the affected area.This was not simply an inconvenience but a genuine safety concern that could easily have resulted in an injury.Room Readiness and Service RecoveryIn addition, my room was not cleaned according to the expected schedule. While I raised the issue with management, the response was limited to an apology. There was no meaningful follow-up, service recovery effort, or attempt to address the inconvenience caused.OverallWhile every hotel can experience occasional service lapses, what disappointed me most was the lack of proactive hospitality, communication, and recovery throughout the stay. From the arrival experience, to the upgrade request, to the safety concern and housekeeping issue, there were multiple opportunities to demonstrate genuine guest care that unfortunately were missed.I hope management reviews these concerns seriously and takes steps to improve both service consistency and guest experience going forward.     Great Location! Great Service!

    The location of Le Meridian is wonderful being directly across the street from the train station. Check in was wonderful and we were presented with a glass of champagne while finalizing the details. There is a bar on site, along with a suite shop for any basic needs you might need. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the bathroom amenities include Malin + Goetz which I didn't care for; however, I do travel with my own soap. The breakfast is amazing with an omelet/egg station and a kids breakfast station as well. Hotel was well-staffed, secure and quiet. We did use the pool which was small but was fine during our short stay here. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.     Nice hotel, but breakfast is a chaotic mess

    Overall, the hotel itself is quite nice, but the breakfast service was a complete disappointment due to a total lack of organization.Finding a table is an absolute nightmare. There simply aren't enough tables for the number of guests, and the staff fails to clear and reset the tables that do become free, leaving them dirty and unusable for new customers. To make matters worse, if you show up around 9:10 AM, many food items are already running out and are not being replenished.They really need to improve their management and staff efficiency during morning hours.
