    Stay was May 2024. Hotel and room is sound and decently kept. Restaurant is a very well designed breadth of space with much natural light. Breakfast had good variety - the honey bar is much appreciated. Situated in a quiet and orderly neighborhood with three brand name supermarkets and a few small clothing, etc. shops in close proximity.     Good basic travel hotel

    Good clean travel hotel. Roomes are small but adequate. Does have air conditioning but if very hot can not keep up with the heat. Breakfast in the morning is very good with many options. Hotel staff is attentive and helpful. Location is safe but a bit outside the city. 20 euro uber to city center. Some nice restaurants nearby.     Unless you want to go through 11 metro stops to get to the city, this is not the hotel for you.The hotel itself is contemporary and quite nice but it is in an unattractive commercial district. the rooms are nice with a teensy bathroom and no toiletries except for an all-purpose dispenser in the shower. And as with most hotels there are no stands for suitcases. Good water pressure and heat in the shower.     The hotel is typical for the Leonardo chain: everything works, the staff is exceptionally courteous and professional, the breakfast buffet is large and offers something for everyone and the room and public areas are spotlessly clean. There is a city bus stop directly in front of the hotel and a Ubahn (subway) stop about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. But I found the area immediately surrounding the hotel location had little to offer for a short-term visitor. Maybe if the weather had been better and with a longer stay I could have found something positive. Beware of rooms on the 5th floor: the elevator arrives in the middle of the break area of the hotel's conference center. It was strange to have to drag my luggage through a crowd of people standing around on their coffee break. I will stick with Leonardo hotels but probably not this one again.     I am so offended by the management at this hotel, I advise all of you to look elsewhere.A close family member was diagnosed days before my trip with Stage IV cancer, and when I informed the hotel, they told me they could only cancel or change the dates if I presented a death certificate. In a timely manner. Despite proof that she was nearing death everyday and unlikely to survive emergency surgery.This isn't about the money - no hotel should be allowed to treat humans this way, and I want people to know the kind of hotel they are booking. This hotel doesn't deserve your business.
