    Superb service from the staff, fromnthe front desk to housekeeping: prompt, feiendly helpful, caring. Especially so during our health emergency.Relax, the restaurant and bar, has the best food and drinks we had in Munich. Creative dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients. Kudos to the chef.The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet.The hotel is very well located, except for persons with limited mobility. Nevertheless if we go back to Munich we'll stay there again.The air conditioning at night must be improve and I suggest installing grab bars in a few rooms for the convenience of senior guests.     Staff, breakfast buffet, location all great. 2min walk from the main station and the tram to get you nearly everywhere you need to go and a couple of blocks from old town. The maintenance of the hotel needs improving. 1st room had two unpleasant stains, a major one on the carpet and a small one on the couch. Staff, again were great, and ‘upgraded my room’ unfortunately it was worse than the first, minus the stains. No air conditioning, tattered curtains, across two levels (which I was advised) via a tight metal spiral staircase (not sure that was advised), the tvs were so close together that they kept turning each other on but on different channels, and the windowsills could do with a clean. Would be ok for a night or two but not longer .     We recently stayed at the Mercure City Centre, and overall, it was a fantastic experience with just one minor hiccup.🏨 The Room & AccessibilityThe room itself was impressively spacious and spotlessly clean. It came well-equipped with plenty of storage space, an in-room safe, and a fantastic perk—a free minibar! Accessibility throughout the hotel is also top-notch, making it an easy and comfortable stay for anyone.🥐 Fantastic BreakfastThe breakfast buffet was easily a highlight of our stay. There is a huge variety of options to choose from, including:• Fresh vegetables• A wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts• Fresh pretzels and other baked goods🛠️ Staff & ServiceThe staff members deserve a special shout-out. Everyone we encountered was incredibly nice, welcoming, and eager to help.⚠️ A Few Things to Note• The Wi-Fi: This was the only real weak spot of our stay. The internet connection was slow and spotty at best—definitely unusable if you need to do video conferencing or remote work.• Parking: If you are driving, parking is available at a nearby garage for €32 per day, which is worth factoring into your budget.The Verdict: A wonderful, clean, and friendly hotel in a great location.     Direct from airport to centre of Munich by train with hotel location a few minutes from central station. Very convenient. Quick check in. Two night stay. Room large and clean. Amenities good. Didn't do breakfast as lots of cafes and coffee shops locally. Minibar restocked daily. Beds large and comfy. Slept well. Would use again. Munich great city to visit. Very safe and lots to see.     The best Mercure Hotel ever

    Just the one night at Mercure Munich as I was transiting to Paris. Perfect location and walk to train station, wonderful restaurant and bar for dinner and breakfast (very busy), friendly staff. The room, while not new, was perfect - large, immaculate condition, clean, fully equipped with complimentary drinks, soaps etc and comfortable bed. The whole package was the best Mercure I have ever stayed in - and there has been a few! Great job Mercure Munich.
