    A really old-fashioned and run-down hotel in need of refurbishment - not Movenpick standard.

    The location of the hotel is very practical - easy access by car and close (but not too close) to Munich Airport.Unfortunately the hotel is really run-down and in desperate need of renovation. Very far away from the Movenpick level you might be used to.The rooms are outdated, old fashioned and run down. The unpleasant feeling in emphasized by poor cleaning (hair from past occupants and dust on the floor) and a nasty smell of sewaghe water coming from the shower.The ameneties are minimal - not the same level as Movenpick usually offers.The breakfast was nice and tasty but the breakfast room is also directly from the 1980s. I was lucky that is was half empty. On a busy day the poorly organized room would be infernal.As stay often at Movenpicks and other mid-level Accor establishments. For this one, I will never ever come back.     I stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel München-Airport recently and honestly, it was way better than I expected. The rooms are big, super clean, and quiet – perfect for crashing after a long flight or day on the road. Every morning the breakfast buffet was legit: tons of good stuff, fresh pastries, eggs done how you like, great coffee… I actually looked forward to it.The restaurant on site was solid too – nice food, well cooked, and the staff were really friendly and on top of things without being annoying. What I loved most was how close it is to the airport; getting there and back was dead easy, no stress at all. Overall, great spot if you need something comfy and convenient near Munich Airport. I’d definitely go back.     When We have to fly out of Munich we stay at Hotel Mövenpick Airport.They make you feel Welcome and treat you like family.We had excellent expierence on January 6 at the front desk Maikin welcomed us.Our flight on the 7 with KLM was canceled because of to much Snow in Amsterdam .So Maikin booked us for one extra Night at the Hotel and we could stay in the same Room.So one the 8 it worked with Air France.We always have good Dinner there and excellent breakfast, the Staff amazing.Looking forward for the Next stay thereThank You very much to all the hardworking Team of Mövenpick and make the guest feel so welcome MP Muenchen Airport, Guest Services / Front Office at Movenpick Hotel Munchen Airport, responded to this review Dear Guests, thank you for your visit and thank you for your positive feedback which I shared with my team.     Rude server and no healthy veg meals

    This restaurant claims to have vegetarian and vegan options on its dinner menu but this is not true. Tomato sauce on spaghetti is not a healthy meal. Vegetarians and vegans need protein too. When I asked our server about adding a protein to one of the so-called vegan options, she got angry, went into the kitchen and yelled loud enough for the entire dining room to hear, then came back and told us to go eat somewhere else.     Needed a last minute hotel for a stopover and this one was close to the airport and a great price.Food was excellent, staff very friendly despite a very busy Saturday with a large number of last minute guests.Room was a good size, very happy with our nights stay.
