    My stay at the hotel left me with mixed feelings. I can't say anything bad about the room itself, except that there were no slippers or robes – and this is a 4-star hotel. The electrical and plumbing were fine, no complaints. The service was a different matter entirely. I specifically requested a quiet room, specifically specifying that I didn't want to be close to the elevator, and especially not in a so-called interconnected room. And what's the first thing I see when I enter my room? A wooden door leading to the next room. It's easy to imagine the soundproofing in such a room (or rather, the complete lack thereof). The receptionist was downright arrogant – he told me they weren't obligated to meet my request (about silent room). Seriously? This is at 4-star hotel, and this request was made three months before check-in? I had to call the tour operator (trip.com) for help, and after a "clearing up" with the hotel, they changed our room for the second day. I'm grateful to the tour operator, but disappointed with the hotel.

    Be aware of their cancellation policy before you book. March 2026 we booked several rooms and nights for November 2026. This was booked over the phone, with an agent. She did not make us aware that the rate she quoted us was nonrefundable. April 2026 we called to cancel. We were then told we could not cancel (for a refund) because our reservation was a reduced, nonrefundable rate. We had stayed at this hotel in the past for a convention that we were planning to attend Nov 2026. Unfortunately, we cannot attend the convention. We feel we were tricked by their agent. Their management team will do nothing to help us. Very poor customer service.

    Excellent hotel near the heart of Munich

    This was an excellent hotel. Can't think of a bad thing to say. It is in a nice area, a short walk to the tram stops, a short walk to the S-Bahn into Marienplatz or anywhere really. I love the Munich transportation system. The hotel itself is clean, modern and has a great layout. All staff was friendly and helpful. We got lucky to have an early room we were able to check into after a long overnight flight from Toronto. Room layout was really nice, not cramped at all. Bathroom had plenty of space. We got a 3 nt rate including breakfast and the breakfast was top notch. Staff there were always working to stock everything and the food was of excellent quality, especially the coffee. For restaurants, you are down the street from Augustiner-Keller, an awesome traditional German beer hall and restaurant. When we tired a little of traditional German food, we went for a walk in a nice neighbourhood five mins away and found an excellent meal at an Italian place (Neuhauser).In summary, why would you pay to stay in Old Munich for a lot of money when you can stay for much less and have 5 minute tram or S-Bahn ride to the center of it all? We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it to families, couples, anyone really. Thank you to the Novotel Arnulfpark.

    My best friend and I Had a lovely stay at Novotel Munich! Great location, friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The breakfast selection was excellent—special thanks to Eika from F&B for making it even better with her warm and attentive service 🥰when she says good morning 222 it made our day 🥰Highly recommend for family and business people.
