    To be transparent: Business trip and was paid for by inviting client.Warm late-May weather, and can I say too warm?Check-in was a breeze with the usual requirements and other members of the party were already at the hotel.The room had this view of the entrance road to the hotel. It was kept clean and tidy during my entire stay. The room was big as it had a sofa and generous clearance between the bed and the sofa. However, I was left wanting a proper desk and chair.There was space for your luggage and a small closet at the entrance of the room. TV was enormous which was a surprise. The toilet was a bit far from the bath, got me wandering my room the first night but you get used to it. The bath was clean and sanitized all throughout the stay; water pressure and temperature were all right too.All of the staff had smiles on their faces and were eager to help with any request and the instance I kind of tripped the breaker for my room. (It was due to a wet electric kettle) They restored power quick and I found out the cause on the second time and reported it to them.Food was also great! Breakfast choices were varied that I only got to taste around 70% during my three day stay. One odd observation was that, the breakfast plates were a bit cold that the hot food became warm quickly. Maybe a plate warmer?Location is okay, a convenience store was nearby in a petrol station, has a park and below has good restaurant choices and good selection of cuisines within a kilometer walkOverall, this stay was a great experience. The room, bed and the breakfast choices were the ultimate plus. On top of that, the warm staff. Would stay at this property again, given another chance.

    Family friendly, room size much larger than hol inn next door. There is a children play ground nearby if swimming in the hotel is not preferred. Little walk nearby w trees and running water. Downside , hotel has no fan or aircon, opening the window attracts all the insects , sleep is not the best in a warm room

    Excellent Easter Stay at Novotel Munich City

    We had a wonderful stay at Novotel during the Easter period, traveling with our family for our son’s football tournament. The hotel turned out to be a perfect base for our trip.The location is excellent, just a short walk from the city center, making it very easy to explore Munich without needing to rely too much on transport.The parking is extremely convenient, with direct access under the hotel, which made everything even smoother, especially when traveling with family.A special mention goes to the reception team, who were always available and ready to help with any request. In particular, I would like to thank Paolo for his kindness, positivity, and genuine willingness to assist, he really made a difference during our stay.We also really appreciated the in-house restaurant, The Flave. Having a good-quality restaurant directly inside the hotel is a big plus, especially after a long day out.The breakfast was abundant and well organized, with a great variety of options. A special recommendation: don’t miss the traditional braided pastry (“treccia”) definitely worth trying.The swimming pool area was clean and relaxing, perfect for unwinding, and the room was comfortable, well-maintained, and suitable for a family stay.Overall, a very pleasant experience, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a future visit to Munich.

    The day before arrival I had a phone call: you are booked in one building but we wanted to offer you an upgrade, but it is in a different building. Took the upgrade, room was ready on arrival at 11 AM, it more than lived up to the expectations of a. Hotel at this price point. I was allowed to keep my room well into the afternoon on departure as well, the reception and bar staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was not for me. Hotel was absolutely full, and it is buffet style and not cheap. But in that part of town there are so many great options, so who cares. I will be back. This is how hotel chains should always treat their core customers.

    Located approximately 20 mins walk outside main city - old town in a quiet road with a river adjacent. I was upgraded to a family executive room with a complimentary minibar which was restocked daily as i am a loyalty cardholder. Room was spacious and very comfortable with a seperate bathroom and toilet. The pool area was very relaxing and a welcome addition. Breakfast was not too busy when i attended around 0930-1000 with a good selection. All staff were very professional.
