  Reasonable hotel for one night

  Park hotel is located about 2 mins from the U-Bahn station Friedenheimerstrase which connects to the main Munich train station within 10 mins. The area is nothing much to write about but there is a small park nearby. At check in we were originally allotted a room whose adjacent room was undergoing repairs resulting in noise and a foul smell. Nor was the room phone working, so we had to go down to the reception to request a change. The staff kindly provided a room upgrade and a different floor which was much better.The hotel has most of its rooms renovated with different corridor lighting and carpets however one part of the hotel is still “old-fashioned”, which is where we stayed. Everything worked and it was a good spacious room. We had to request for a hot water kettle but it was brought up fairly quickly. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast the next day, but overall it was a reasonably decent hotel for a one night stay.

  Dated but clean hotel

  Standard hotel outside city centre, but located directly beside Friedenheimer Straße station U-Bahn station, which makes it easy to travel around Munich. The hotel has the feeling of one that is normally used for business travelers. The rooms are clean, but very dated, decorated in a 1990s style. Bathrooms could do to be regrouted and updated.

  Very pleasant stay during the Euros

  Stayed here with friends in a junior suite for the Euros ,The hotel was very accomodating in putting spare beds in the room for all 4 of us and although a little congested it worked reasonably well for our 4 x night stay ,The staff in this hotel are super friendly and really helpful , nice little bar opposite the reception area and a cosy restaurant which offers a good Buffett breakfast at a reasonable price , there is also a small outside area .Although quite a walk into the CBD , the City centre is easily reached by a direct tram which you can catch from right outside the hotel .There's also a train station nearby offering another option to get into the city and airport .There's a nice bar opposite this station complete with beer garden which unfortunately we only discovered on our final night .I liked the Park Hotel Laim and other than being a little far out from the centre I would have no hesitation recommending it while staying in Munich .

  Good value, no frills, really clean, nice staff.

  Good value, but no luxury, for example there was no coffee machine in my room, which I didn't have a problem with. Very clean rooms and facilities. I found staff to be very friendly and helpful in accommodating my requests to the extent they could. I like the location (very close to the U-bahn) but it may not be for everybody. I did not partake of the breakfast nor did I use any other facilities, so I can't speak to those items, but the staff and management seemed to show a surprising high level of care for their guests.

  Dirty bathroom

  Dirty bath, lots of black hair everywhere, especially corners. They take 16€ for extra cleaning because of my little Chihuahua, but don’t even get the disgusting black hairs cleaned from the bathroom?!Not recommend!
