  Very good value, walkable to the site, friendly Receptionist, Slovene speak era as well, nice and tasty breakfast, rooms and bathroom clean, everything well organized, waiter very helpful. I would come again!

  I booked this hotel for myself and my husband on our first night in Bavaria because the weather forecast was for very hot temperatures and it was advertised as air conditioned. On arrival we went up to our room which was very hot. I tried turning the temperature controller down to cool the room but instead of cooling it increased in temperature. My husband went down to reception to ask how to use the control panel. He was told the air con had broken down and they were doing their best to fix it and to give them 10mins. After 10 mins and the room now at 29°c we were told that a water pump had failed and they couldn't repair it that evening.Reception said they understood if we needed to try another hotel and promised a full refund. I handed over my credit card to receive the refund but was told it couldn't be done that evening but was promised it would be in the morning and I would be emailed. I gave my email address to the reception staff.I did not receive an email or a refund. I couldn't check my card account until our return to UK and as we had booked through Booking.com I felt my complaint should be dealt with through them. Unfortunately Booking.com did not respond until I prompted them when I was told there was nothing they could do but offered £22.45 as compensation.An email had been sent by Hotel Dachau to my husband's email address but he did not find it in his ‘junk box’ until he got home. The hotel was offering us a 20% refund. I wrote back and said that we felt that although it was a non-refundable booking because the hotel had failed to meet the contracted facilities offered on their website, a full refund was required. They declined saying that the air con was not broken ‘merely overloaded’!! We realised we were banging our heads against a brick wall with the hotel management and agreed to accept the small refund. I sent my credit card details as requested for the 20% refund. THE HOTEL HAVE NEVER REPLIED OR PAID ANY REFUND DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS TO THEM ASKING IF THEY HAD RECEIVED MY CORRESPONDENCE. If the hotel had been in the UK I would have considered taking them to the small claims court as I felt we had a good case.Dreadful customer service!! Advised all our friends to avoid.   I had a quite bad experience with this hotel recently. I arrived here on saturday evening, at reception there was a lady probably tired which should represent the image of the hotel, but the welcome was quite unpleasant. Check in experience: low Professionality, lady misunderstood name of the reservation because she didn't take confirmation printed sheet even when I was offering to her.... but just asking ..."what's your name?" ..ehm i'm sorry I can't find you ....can I have the confirmation sheet? (Uh?)Breakfast experience: I didn't have pleasure to try breakfast because this lady said that the bar during weekend was closed...First time ever in my life that I heard so much weird info.Then I quickly bought some food to the Market for next morning, than I realized that the bar was open and full active.Room experience: Altough this is a no smoker hotel in my room there was some previous customer who smoked inside room so the moquette and all room was full nicotine taste.Payment experience: the payment from this lady was requested in advice so I paid all my reservation in advance before even have the key of the room. I did check in on Saturday evening..unlucky I found on this time shift a very unpleasant welcome from this lady which gave me the impression that I definitely choose the wrong hotel in Dachau. Never Ever!

  Check in was very easy, the ladies on reception spoke excellent English and were very helpful.The isn’t a restaurant on site but we were pointed across the road to a wonderful Italian (lush!)The rooms were clean, comfy bed, clean shower etc.All you could want, also noticed after there’s electric blinds.Only slight criticism is the air con isn’t the best, felt warmer in the room with it on.Breakfast in the morning was a massive selection of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, yoghurts, bacon & eggs etc

  Good hotel, very handy if visiting Dachau concentration camp

  Hotel was good value for the money. Room very clean and well stocked with toiletries and hairdryer. Staff friendly. Parking was €2. Is situated in the industrial district - Fast food places and supermarkets right next door. We stayed here overnight before a visit to Dachau concentration camp which was only a 2 minute drive away. Would stay again if visiting anywhere close by.
