Serious Privacy Violation and Unprofessional Response

    rating25 Apr 2026

Very unpleasant experience. Before check-out time, room service entered my room without knocking while I was still inside getting dressed — a clear violation of privacy. When I complained, the receptionist justified it by saying the staff member “doesn’t hear well” and that I should have used the “Do Not Disturb” sign. This response is unacceptable. Respecting guests’ privacy is a basic duty, not optional. This shows a lack of training or awareness of fundamental privacy standards. I would expect much better from a professional hotel.

What i have come to expect from Premier Inns

    rating23 Mar 2026

I have stayed at several Premier inn hotels in the UK and found them to always be excellent and i have to say this hotel was no different. We arrived late evening and was welcomed by a very friendly member of staff on reception who checked us in quickly gave us all the info we needed and gave us our room number which was on the quiet side of the hotel on a high floor which over looked the city and not the main road outside, Just for your info when you enter the lift you have to present your room key on the card reader in the lift each time before pressing the floor you require. On entering the room it was very clean good size enough room for clothes walk in shower as well as tv and free wifi which was very good. The bed was very comfy and there was extra pillows and covers if needed also the windows in the room opened too also there was plenty of lights in the room which was also good as well as a hair drier. We paid for breakfast which was excellent great choice of food and the hotel also had a bar where you could get a drink and chill after a busy day and the prices were very good too.The hotel is in a great position only a couple of minutes walk from the metro system as well as the trams and buses too which all run past the front of the hotel. There is also a restaurant right across the road from the hotel an Italian and an Indian a couple of minutes walk from the hotel on the same side as well as a Burger King across the road about five minutes away. There is also more bars and restaurants a further 5-10 minute walk away with the main train station a 1-15 minute walk away. The hotel is also within walking distance too many of the sights of Munich and for those who like their beer the kellers are close bye too.I found the the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful and would recommend this hotel.

    Average hotel in good location

    rating09 Mar 2026

We stayed here for 3 nights in a ‘premier plus’ room. I would not like to see what the standard room is like as there was nothing ‘premier plus’ about this room, it was small and bed was very uncomfortable. There was a problem with our window meaning it did not shut properly so we constantly heard the road noise and trams. The room was very hot and we had to go and request they turned the heat off and allowed us to use the air con. Hotel is in a great location and staff were nice enough. It has potential but needs some maintenance. Ask for a room facing away from the road and take ear plugs.

Disappointing service despite good breakfast and central location.

I chose this hotel because I’ve stayed with Premier Inn many times in the UK and have always found the brand reliable, comfortable, and consistent. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t live up to that expectation. The biggest issue was that the TV in my room did not work for the entire stay. I reported it on the first day and was told it would be resolved. Each day after that, I followed up at reception and was reassured it had been “marked as completed.” However, nothing was ever actually fixed. No engineer appeared, no replacement was provided, and I wasn’t offered a room change. The real frustration wasn’t the broken TV itself — these things happen — it was the lack of ownership and the dismissive attitude. It began to feel like I was being brushed off rather than helped. Being told repeatedly that an issue is resolved when it clearly isn’t is disappointing and, frankly, frustrating. As a large and well-known UK brand, I expected better customer service and accountability. It turned into a bigger issue than it needed to be because they just lied repeatedly On the positive side, breakfast was genuinely very good. There was a solid variety of hot and cold options, and everything was well stocked. The breakfast area is quite small, though, so it can feel cramped at busy times. That said, the quality of the food itself was absolutely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is central and convenient for exploring Munich, with easy access to transport and the city centre. However, it’s worth noting that there is a noticeable amount of homelessness in the immediate surrounding area. I personally didn’t experience any problems, but it may be something some travellers want to be aware of. They just kept begging morning, noon and night. At night the weee clearly drunk. Not a massive issue but one worth noting. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean, which is what you expect from the brand. But when a simple maintenance issue is repeatedly ignored and handled poorly, it impacts the overall experience far more than it should.Overall, this stay fell short of the standard I associate with Premier Inn in the UK. Good breakfast, decent location, comfortable bed — but customer service needs significant improvement.

    Mixed bag

Hotel was in a good location, basic standard Breakfast poor choice but allot of coffee shops near The reason for 3 stars and not 4 on Monday morning I witnessed the rudest manager to staff I ever have in my life. At 7.45 we booked breakfast she absolutely bullied physically and mentally the young male staff wearing glasses. Her behaviour was ignorant aggressive and bullying Completely unacceptable in front of staff and I hope it’s investigated and footage looked at. But otherwise clean basic hotel in a good location
