    Not a good experience, I asked for a kettle and an iron but the hotel had neither. Not even a pen & notepad in the room. The hotel bar closed at 09.30pm. The hotel had no decaffeinated coffee or Green Tea. The toilets smell badly and the toilet in my room didn't flush. Soap dispensers in my bathroom were empty. The staff worked hard but there's so few of them. If i wasn't staying on business and paying myself I would have checked out after a few hours and found somewhere better.

    A location close to the center with private covered parking, rooms from the 90s but still decent and clean. Staff who practically only speak German, with a few exceptions who know English. Staff are kind and welcoming. We only tried the bar during a party and the barman was really knowledgeable. Comfortable beds, TV with only German channels plus two in French. In the bathroom there was liquid hand soap, shampoo and shower gel for the tub/shower. Rooms not very soundproof (you could hear people talking in the corridor.

    Every item of the hotel breaths nostalgie the rooms, the parking, the breakfast, the staff,… complete renovation is inevitable and time critical but apparently not for the owners or the management. Unfortunate because well located … time to move on !

    Perfect location. Great breakfast, Comfortable bed. A big star for each. Stayed here for a family reunion last year. Since ownership /management changed was disappointed to see that standards have dropped drastically. The staff are helpful but there are so few of them around. This weekend the overworked receptionist doubled as electrician trying to deal with issues such as the electronic key system not working and several guests locked out of their rooms. Meanwhile other arriving guests were waiting at reception with the phone ringing. This hotel feels like it is nose-diving down without a careful management eye looking at maintenance and details. I love this place but it is definitely not a four star hotel!

    A dirty hotel

    Cobwebs on the walls, urine on the toilet bowl, organic dirt on the wall in the room, stains in the hallways and stairwells. We wanted to change rooms, but no one could be reached after 10:00 p.m., especially not on the emergency number. We pointed out the dirt to the staff and they apologized but it was time for us to leave. Under no circumstances will we be going back to such a dirty hotel. We also paid 84 euros per person for direct bookings instead of the 72 that the websites ask.
