    Ok hotel for a stop underway to Austria. Nice pool and sauna. Outdated rooms but fine. However the restaurant is extremely overpriced and bad quality price ratio. That feels like a trap. 30 Euros for a schnitzel… insane.

    Terrible hotel - expensive meals and don’t like bikers. Treated us with poor respect - not sure if that was because we were English or because we were bikers but we suspect the latter. Expensive hotel to have no air con or even a fan it the room.

    This is the worst sleep I have had in many years of business travel. The mattress on my bed was thin and unsupportive, the sheets were man made fibres. As for the pillow it was completely ruined. After one night with less than 4hours sleep I complained and reception agreed to put new pillow and cotton sheets.... This did not happen..The hotel is OK but a bit outdated- forgivable if you aren't sleeping on nylon sheets. Awful.

    I was simply, dumbfounded. Either the requirements for a 4 star rating have gone down or this place got lucky. We didn't visit the spa area, so I can't comment on that.Breakfast was the only highlight from this hotel the only thing we found that was at all worthy of a high rating; the breakfast set up was really well done, there were several options for a wide variety of breakfast tastes, eggs were prepared fresh and the dining room staff worked quickly and efficiently.So, the rest. We checked in on Friday evening, the check in was smooth and the receptions personnel we courteous and professions. At first glimpse, the room (510) appeared ok, until until we sat on the bed. Two difference types of mattresses, one either very old or just poor quality, it literally bottomed out sitting on it. The furnishings look old and little more than just thrown together, and the bathroom motive was 60' or 70's at best, and, the electric vent was at head level in the shower. To make it better (or perhaps it was a blessing) all throughout the room and bathroom was simply horrible lighting you couldn't see to brush your hair.Friday evening we had dinner at the hotel. What can I say, the staff is not the same staff as breakfast. Could not discuss wines with any level of understanding, couldn't remember our order, brought the wrong wine, we asked for at least 10 to 15 minutes between appetizer and main course, yet it was all delivered together, the food was delivered warm and the meal was ok at best...definitely not worth the cost. We didn't eat there again and we wouldn't.But, the bar. I have been all throughout Europe, stayed in countless hotels, and the one thing that makes or breaks a hotel is the bar, more than that, the bar tenders. The Bar in this hotel looks great and appears really top end, I have to say, it looked great. But, that is where it stopped. The young lady behind the bar had simply no idea what she was doing, how to mix drinks how to tally the bill, forgot who ordered what, mixed the wrong mixes. was difficult to talk to at best, wrong glasses for different drinks, and no idea what the recipes were, she had to continue to go into a drawer on the side and read the instructions over and over for each drink. All this was one a very busy Friday and Saturday night. It was just...frustrating and a horrible reflection on the hotel management.What a shame...it had such a good write up and really a mountain of potential, it was really just a disappointing stay. Deserves one start, but gets two for the breakfast.
