  We absolutely loved our stay at Boutique Hotel Splendid! We were a group of eight women (four rooms) and each one was great. The beds were very comfy, great water pressure, clean and tastefully decorated. Perfect location and we found it very quiet. We truly loved being able to sit in the library and have a drink at night or afternoon coffee. The environment is warm and welcoming, just like all the lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious as well. Our future travel plans have this hotel bookmarked, we will definitely stay again.

  Very nice boutique hotel nicely located in Munchen

  Very nice boutique hotel very well located in dowtown München in a tranquil street and near the river. Staff is very friendly, they all speak English fairly well. Walking distance (15 mins) from the main attractions of donwtown. I reccomens this hotel for leisure and/or business

  Overall a nice boutique hotel

  Overall this is a very nice little hotel in a very convenient central location. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is wonderful; the women who run the breakfast have it totally together. Things that could have been better: 1) the internet didn't work for an entire day which was very inconvenient, 2) the entrance of the hotel for some reason always smelled like cigarette smoke. I don't know if that's because people are taking smoking breaks right outside or what but it was persistently that way, 3) there is no air conditioning which is not a problem until it is, 4) the hair dryer was the kind where you had to keep pushing a lever to have the dryer be on, which I found annoying and really unnecessary, 5) the shower gel (which incidentally smells great) had run out in the shower and housekeeping did not fill it back up, 6) for a small bathroom, it's important for there to be alot of hooks. At least a hook on the back of the door. Again, overall a pleasant stay and would consider staying there again.

  Only a 2 night stay. Was OK. Nothing exceptional. Bed was a bit hard for my liking. Very tiny bathroom. Creaky floors. Definitely not worth €475 for 2 nights. Wifi was OK. Like the area however. Local Cafes and restaurants nearby. Close to Tram and U Bahn. 10 minute walk to Marienplatz

  Great boutique hotel with staff who really care about the guest experience

  The staff at the hotel were amazing. On the evening of Christmas Day, which happened to be our last night at the hotel, I was in an accident which required emergency surgery overnight and then a four day stay in hospital thereafter. The Hotel staff were great on the first night assuring my partner she had a place to stay for at least one more night and then each time we needed to extend the stay by another night or two due to uncertainty as to when I would be released from hospital and we would be returning home to Australia, the staff were always happy to accommodate. Even when my partner needed to change rooms they made the process as smooth as possible by assisting with luggage or taking luggage up to the new room whilst she was at the hospital with me. My partner tells me every time she walked through reception they always asked how I was going. Without the flexibility and friendliness of the staff at the Splendid our already ruined holiday would have turned into a full on nightmare.They also did a bunch of legwork for us trying to find a place that was open for dinner on Christmas Eve.Super convenient location 15 minute walk to Marianplatz and Viktulienmarkt - tram option also available only a couple hundred metres down the street.
