    Delightful and cosy Family run hotel in Munich

    Thalmair hotel is a lovely and cosy Family run hotel in Munich. The location is a bit far from the city centre, but its not an issue, as the underground is 2 mins walk. And its about 25 to 27 euros to the city centre on uber or bolt.The hotel is also very close to the famous LMU clinic. There is a large supermarket Rewe in 1 min walk and several restaurants are in few mins walk as well.The hotel is very clean and the staff of the hotel are lovely. Very friendly and helpful, this makes the stay at the hotel very pleasant. Would like to mention the Ladies at the reception, which were wonderful. Jasmina, Theresa and Patricia all excelled in providing wonderful customer service and experience. Thank you Ladies!

    Excellent hotel close to LMU hospital in a lovely neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Shops and eateries are on the doorstep. The hotel also has excellent access to public transport.

    Small hotel with neighborhood feel. Several good restaurants nearby. Close to U6 and walkable to MPI. Slightly worn but highly maintained. Very nice design and comfortable rooms. Simple continental breakfast. Only suggestion would be top mattresses: bed was a bit on the hard side.

    Good southwest location in Munich. Good brew house close with good food. Also 2 italian restaurants within 100 feet of the hotel. The breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Really good coffee! Hotel staff were very pleasant and most spoke English. I had no issues with checkin or checkout. My room did not have AC and it was a bit to warm for my liking. I did have a fan and 2 windows that opened up. It was June and pretty warm during the day. They also have a garage on site that is secure and has a door that locks. It is pretty tight to get in and out of, just be aware it could be difficult to park in a big suv or larger car. The hotel does close the front desk at 10pm. Plan accordingly if you need anything during off hours. Good place, but i will stay in another place that has AC, unless it is colder during my next visit.

    Good location in quiet area but with plenty of restaurants and a few shops. Nice clean room with very comfortable bed with friendly and professional staff.I was with a large cycling group and particularly appreciated the great breakfast.
