Great place and 5star hotel staff

    rating20 May 2026

We had a wonderful room facing the quieter street, on a higher floor, exactly as we had requested. Everyone at the hotel — the reception staff as well as the breakfast team — was kind, helpful, and friendly.I would especially like to highlight Erika from housekeeping, who handled a small issue we had. She did so with excellent English, outstanding professionalism, and a level of guest-oriented care that is truly exceptional in the hospitality industry.

Not value for money – safety and service below expectations

    rating01 Feb 2026

We stayed at Adina Apartment Hotel Nuremberg in January 2026 in connection with a trade fair visit. Nuremberg is a classic trade fair city, and it is well known that prices are high during these periods. As a business traveler, you accept that. However, when paying a high price, you also expect a basic level of standard, functionality, and service. At first glance, the room appeared tidy, but there were several deficiencies. One lamp did not work, and in the bathroom the thermostat was faulty, meaning the water temperature could not be adjusted properly. As a result, there was never truly hot water, only lukewarm. This was not critical, but certainly not satisfactory given the price level. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service related to housekeeping. As a business traveler who gets up early, spends the entire day at a trade fair, and returns late and tired, you expect at a minimum that the trash is emptied and towels are replaced. This did not happen. There was no cleaning, no towel replacement, and no emptying of the trash. The trash bin was overflowing. We stayed for three days, and at check-out I asked about the lack of cleaning. I was told that full cleaning only takes place every third day. This was not clearly stated at the time of booking that the hotel saves on housekeeping in this way. It was possible to request fresh towels free of charge, but that was not the point. If I had to take care of waste disposal, tidying up, and basic cleaning myself, I would have chosen a different type of accommodation than a hotel. This was a purely business-related stay, and my time is not allocated to acting as housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet was also a disappointment considering the price. The selection consisted mainly of pre-produced standard items, including sausages and eggs from industrial suppliers. The offering was exactly the same every morning, with no variation or unique elements. It appeared to be a very basic, mass-produced breakfast buffet that in no way matches the price. In terms of quality and variety, better breakfast options can be found elsewhere in the city – even at gas stations.A concrete example of the lack of professionalism was when we at one point asked for a toothpick. Two employees searched around without success, as toothpicks apparently are not available on site. That a hotel with a restaurant and breakfast service does not have something so basic gave the impression of a very low service level and felt more like a fast-food setup than a hotel in this price category. There were also several issues that raised concerns regarding safety. On the corridors, doors were held open with wedges, which is problematic from a fire safety perspective. It also looked unprofessional. The elevator safety also did not appear to be up to date, even though we were at the end of January, when the mandatory inspection should already have been carried out.The hotel also lacks facilities for business travelers. There are no proper work areas, no suitable desks in the reception area where one can sit and work, and no access to coffee or similar amenities before 7:00 a.m. This is insufficient for guests who work early and have meetings or trade fairs starting in the morning. Finally, I would like to mention the area around the hotel. I did not feel safe returning in the evenings after long working days. During our stay, there was a large political demonstration directly outside the hotel, primarily involving Kurdish demonstrators, with a heavy police presence. This created unrest and an atmosphere of insecurity in the area. For guests who are not local or accustomed to this type of environment, it significantly affects both the sense of safety and the overall experience. These are conditions that the hotel would do well to inform guests about in advance, especially when it is marketed as a comfortable and professional option for business travelers.Overall, I experienced the hotel as a place where service, housekeeping, quality, and safety are being reduced, without the price reflecting this. It does not live up to expectations for an expensive hotel aimed at business stays. I would not recommend this hotel to business travelers who require security, peace of mind, functional facilities, and reliable service.

Adina Nuremberg is a well located hotel near the Weisserturm Ubahn stop. Rooms are well appointed with full kitchenette - washing drying comfy beds and good sized bathrooms. Wellness on the lower floors. We arrived early and were able to check in which was a nice gesture. In all a highly recommended place.

Very disappointing. We will NOT be back

    rating08 Dec 2025

The Duty Night Manager who was there on arrival, was unhelpful and told us lies. We asked for an alternative room, to be told there weren’t any. We checked on line and there were rooms available. He said that the hole in the wall was a common feature of the studios. It isn’t as my daughter’s family were next door in an identical room with no hole. When shown the photo and enquiring about the standard of workmanship, he said it was acceptable!!Most other staff were delightful, particularly those on breakfast. However, the Duty Night Manager was an embarrassment to the brand and should not be customer facing. We will not return. Excellent experience in the heart of Old Town with friendly and helpful staff

    rating06 Dec 2025

I used to stay here frequently when I worked for an organic tea company. Returned this week with my wife to visit the Christmas Markets (which I would highly recommend). This hotel is an oasis within the Old Town Walls - you could spend a week here and not run out of things to do. The hotel still looks and feels brand new, even though it is probably over 10 years old now. But what really makes it special are the staff; the people who work here - especially at the Front Desk - all very kind, friendly and very helpful.
