A little family run gem of a hotel.

A family run hotel situated close to the Christmas market. It's not a stylish elegant room, but has all the essentials, with a comfortable bed, and was quiet and spotless. The breakfast buffet was excellent,far better than I anticipated, and all the staff,from the receptionist to the ladies in the breakfast room were delightful. A very friendly, welcoming place to stay.

Beautiful building - not mobility accessible - close to sites

Had a great sleep in this historic building. Loved the authentic-ness of the room and building, and convenient location. Room was very large and spacious with private bathroom. The only difficulty not giving 5 stars was that it was not accessible for people with mobility issues. The lighting was very dark or non-existent in the stairwells and we were on the top floor of very uneven stairs (great for photos and authentic historic feel but not for safety). This made it hard to carry heavy luggage and small children to walk safely. I ended up falling very badly off a ledge in the hallway that I could not see as the lights had gone out and we could not find the light switch in the dark. Overall we had a pleasant experience and I wish we had stayed 2 nights as we would have loved more time to explore the historic medieval part of the city. (october 2023)

Great Value and Spacious Rooms

We had a great stay at this hotel – excellent value for money. The room was unexpectedly spacious and even included a separate seating area, which made it feel more like a suite than a standard room.The location was convenient – close to the main tourist spots yet pleasantly quiet, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. Free parking was a huge bonus as well.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. All in all, a great experience and one I’d happily recommend to others.

Great location for Christmas market stay

A lovely small hotel, ideally located in the Old Town , within walking distance of the historic sights and Christmas markets. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was in the old building across the car park, it was a bit noisy at night and walls a bit thin but the beds were comfy. It does need to have a kettle in the room so that you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, I went down to reception to get one as we were told we could when we checked in, only to discover I was charged for it when we checked out. I wouldn't have minded if we were told this but I thought we were offered it because the facility wasn't in our rooms..however this didn't dampen the weekend, its just a side note.
