  Lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff

  I thought this hotel was lovely. The staff were really friendly and because it was the new year we got some chocolates and mint sweets as a little gift. Our room was spacious and clean with a fabulous shower. Breakfast was a buffet selection. Only 2 hot food options each day but plenty of salad, fruit, sandwiches, pastries and cereals to choose from also. A lovely choice I thought. The pancake making machine was a fabulous touch.Location is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Nuremberg but the U bahn station is right next to the hotel so all good of walking is not on your agenda. The only down side was no kettle or coffee/tea sachets in our room. In the UK this would always be available. Possibly this isn’t a thing in Germany?   My room was clean and warm, bed comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast rich and delicious. I was really satisfied. The only discomfort was limited parking capacity and the road reconstruction which made it very difficult to arrive by car. After recommendation from the receptionist I asked in another nearby hotel if I can use their parking, which worked in the end. At the other hand there is an excellent connection by public transportation as the subway station is located just a few steps from the hotel.

  Very budget, little care.

  We booked this hotel and everything seemed alright on the surface, in a good location, parking and in the photos it looked alright.You get budget hotels, but at least the staff care. Unfortunately at this hotel they do not. Our room was dirty, the side table was dusty, there was mildew in the shower and there were cobwebs from the floor stretching up to the units. We paid for a room including breakfast, the breakfast choice is so poor, the tables are dirty and the staff do not care and just ignore you. We booked through Booking.com, we raised our concerns to an employee on reception who told us to speak to them. We simply wanted a refund for not having breakfast there because it is bad. The hotel do not care so much that they do not respond to Booking.com when they were told of our complaint, Booking.com told me to contact the property to tell them to respond. I get a message from Miriam who has not read and understood our complaint fully, and tells me a refund is not possible. I feel this is nonsense, considering the hotel offers rates without breakfast and they do not care enough to calculate using that rate.The saga continues, but the upshot is, don’t give this budget hotel your money and give another budget hotel who cares your money instead. Or book and don’t book with breakfast, Nuremberg has plenty of good places nearby. Such a disappointing stay.   Stayed one night on our way from Vienna to Frankfurt. Efficient, with parking attached. Good beers on tap and frozen pizza available 24/7.

  Family visit, 4 rooms.Excellent breakfast buffet.Very good location, 2 min from the U-bahn station.Large public areas.After breakfast, they only offer pizza and drinks.Pizza was good.Offered cocktails in the bottle were ok, not my favorite ones.
