    A decent hotel - but in the average range - Jan 2025

    In Jan 2025 had to travel to Amberg - for business again - and spent a few nights in the Vienna House hotel ( full name is also available linked to the review). Checking in/Checking out - not the ideal experience - long time to get the room - and for the check out the day before I gave to the front desk a print-out of the company details I needed on the receipt - actually 4 of us in the same situation - but they've misplaced those details so in the morning we spent more time getting everything together ... So yes it wasn't ideal ...Room - spacious , clean , comfortable bed , everything was great from this perspective - had a good night sleep and with the AC adjustable the temperature in the room was just right. And not noisy at all , at least not for my standard. Now in terms of cleaning they've advertised that if you skip cleaning of the room , you can get a prize ... it seems that the value of not cleaning ones room for 1 day is worth 1 Euro - at least that is what I've got for doing myself and nature a favor ( personally I would have done it either ways , without expecting any payment or any gift in return! ) , leaving the joke aside , a nice gesture from the hotel that they've implemented such a system. Bathroom was spacious, amenities were there , pretty much everything you've needed , shampoo, shower gel , conditioner, cap ... from this perspective everything was spot on. I prefer a walk in shower , but the tub can be also appreciated by many. Breakfast - some good options in the morning, eggs, bacon, greens, ... it might get boring after 1 week , but for the 3 nights we've been there it was just right. Overall a decent hotel - nothing spectacular, but functional - a mid range price wise , with a decent price to quality ratio , however in the average range of hotels. , Geschäftsführer at Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Amberg, responded to this review Dear Guest, thank you very much for your detailed feedback.     Services are excellent, helpful staff. Breakfast delicious with plenty foods to choose from. Room big enough with desk and the bed is very comfortable. Location near the center (5 minutes walk or less).     Booked this hotel for a work trip and was very happy. I had to leave at 4am but check out was no issue and I was given a cup of coffee and offered a snack as breakfast wasn’t served until 6.30am. The room was very big and quite and comfortable.
