    Very friendly hotel with comfy room, nice bathroom and a beautiful view over the Regnitz towards it‘s historic sister hotel the Welcome Residenzschloss where we stayed last summer.     Nice hotel, walking distance to everything in Bamberg. Get the breakfast - it's good and there aren't many other options nearby. It's air conditioned but temp controlled.     We stayed in 5 different hotels during our travels through Germany, and this was unfortunately my least favorite. It's clearly designed for conferences and not for tourists. The atmosphere was very sterile and cold. The location was also a bit farther from the Old City than I realized (about 15 minute walk, which seems further when it's really cold). The breakfast buffet was delicious, but SUPER crowded. There was nothing drastically wrong during our visit, but I would not stay here again.     Like Always A wonderful Stay In Bamberg!

    Amazing hotel with a huge garage below. The breakfast is also great.This is the fourth time we've stayed here. A few minutes walk and you're right in the center of Bamberg. The only negative thing about the rooms is that there are no electrical outlets next to the bed. Time to modernise a bit.....     We have been coming to this hotel for years for its location,service and great breakfast. The prices have gone up, the quality of service down and breakfast is awful. The rooms are still nice and it's still a good location in Bamberg.
